It was a Saturday. Each boy was off doing his own thing for the day. I had to go shopping for them because there's never anytime off for me, Maddie: the boys 24/7 assistant. Calum insisted on coming with me, although I told him that he really shouldn't, I mean who knows what could happen. He's famous, and now people might recognize me too. It could just be double the trouble. But I let him.
I hopped in my white Mustang, and put the key into the ignition, while Calum plopped down on the seat next to me.
He buckled himself up and exclaimed. "Alright, let's get this party started!" As he pulled out his phone and connected it to the Bluetooth radio.
"Calum." I said as I reached out and touched his hand. "You have to understand that no matter what happens, you don't lose your cool today, ok?" I looked him in the eyes as he stared back into mine.
"Relax babe. You don't have to worry about anything, it's not even gonna be that bad, I bet we can sneak in and out of the stores today." He smiled at me.
"Ok." I smiled and I kissed him.
"I love you Madeline." He said, as he ran his fingers through my hair.
"I love you too Calum." I responded. "Now let's go."
We backed out of the parking lot of our hotel we were in and headed toward our first store.
"So, do you have any song requests?" Calum asked.
"What are you some kind of DJ?" I asked giggling.
"Yup. Cash Money Calum is what they call me." He smiled.
"Ok, Cash Money Calum, put on something upbeat." I replied.
We jammed out in the car, until we pulled up into the first parking spot we saw. I got out of the car, and leaned into the window.
"Ok, you can stay here while I go in." I stated.
"Madeline." He looked at me with a stern face. "I'm going in with you. Look around."
I slowly moved my eyes up and looked around our car.
"No big vans, and no paparazzi. We'll be fine. Plus, only I know the certain brand of slippers Ashton needs when his feet are sore." He smiled while he got out of the car.
I made a face.
"Ashton wears slippers?" I asked, almost laughing in confusion.
"Yup."
We walked into the store.
"Ok," I said. "To get this done faster let's split up." I pulled out my list.
"You get the slippers for Ashton and pillows for the tour bus bunks. I'll get food containers and those souvenir key chains the boys want, got it?"
Calum nodded, "Got it."
"Ok, go!" I said and we sped off into different directions.
"Ok, containers, containers oh! Here we go." I grabbed a box with 25 containers in it. "That should be enough." I said. Alright now onto the souvenir key chains.
"Why do they even want these?" I wondered out loud.
I made my way over to where I thought they would be, until I saw a flash of black coming straight towards me.
"They're here! Run!" It was Calum, carrying Ashton slippers and 3 pillows.
"What?!" I yelled with disbelief.
He whizzed past me and I felt a gush of air fly in my face, along with the sent of his cologne. Mmhm that boy always smelt so good.
I saw men with cameras starting to come for me. "Shit!" I yelled and turned starting to run after Calum. I watched him slam a $100 on the cashiers checkout and run out the door.
