"I don't think I can do this, Ben"
"You have to do this."
"She hates me. She had an episode because of me."
"I know, but she drank her meds. She's all calm now and everything's okay."
Scott's eyes are red and puffy from crying too hard. He can't process the way what Kirstie had acted a while ago.
He didn't know.
He sighed then walked out of the room, seeing the sight of her playing with the dogs on the couch.
He felt some kind of fur lingering on his ankle. He looked down seeing Floof purring on his skin. He chuckles, lifting up the small pet.
He went to the owner, taking a large gulp. "Kirst?"
Kirstie looks up, eyeing him up and down. She gave him a reassuring smile, patting the space next to her, gesturing him to sit down.
Scott sighed in relief. Putting down the small fur ball as Scott approches his 'girlfriend'. He sat beside her.
She attacked him with a big embrace once he sat down. He returns it more tightly.
"I miss him, Scotty" She surprisingly voiced out.
"I miss him too, Kirst" Scott responded. Pulling away, noticing that she has a few tears streaming down her face.
Scott cups her cheeks as he wiped her tears with his thumbs. She placed her hands onto his, eyes glued to her lap.
"He was my best friend, Scott. He's just too young." She sniffed as she cried out.
Matt Sallee
Loads of laughter everytime I spent my time with him.
Every single day his energy hasn't failed to spread through my system.
Valient. That's the word I describe him. A very brave young lad.
Over and over, he became a protective brother of mine.
No one can replace my love for him. It'll never be the same.
Scott gently caress her hair, giving it a small kiss. He pulls away from the embrace.
"I'm going to tell you something ..." Scott trailed off. Holding her small hands. She looks at him, signaling him to continue.
"Would you like to perform one more show for Matt?"
Kirstie looked deeply in his blue eyes. She smiled "I thought you'll never ask."
