"I can't do this." Mitch gave up as he abruptly stands up from his chair. His right hand placed on his hips while the other massages his temples.

"No, You're doing great–"

"Oh, I'm doing great? Perfect! Because the song is very emotional and I am very emotionally right now? Is that a good thing, Ben?" The brunet furiously stated at the arranger.

It's now the first day of rehearsals before the Boston show. They're trying to recap one of their past songs. Judging by the looks of the members, everything's not going very well.

The fact that they're missing a voice to complete the arrangement is a hardcore headache for them, they have to reposition it.

All four of them are struggling on their individual parts, mostly Kevin and Scott because one is playing beatbox with the cello while the other is converting himself to be the bass.

They are worried of not getting it done in time.

They are worried about the fans' reactions to the new arrangements.

They are worried that they would fuck up the whole show.

"Mitch, please. We're all stuggling. We have to do this." Kirstie said, attempting to calm Mitch down.

"You don't know what it feels, Kirstin!" He snapped.

Her tranquil gaze transitions into disturbance. She stared at him with pursed lips while clenching her hands into a fist. "What do you even mean that I don't know what it feels?! We lost my brother 'slash' best friend. We're equally doing this for hi–"

" No! You don't know what it feels like to be saved by a young man that took multiple shots of bullets that originally should've directly towards me!" Mitch flared up. Tears started to form in his eyes.

He broke down, hugging his stomach, thinking he might throw up. He's now on his knees, hiding his face with his trembling hands.

"He saved me. Even though we're not that very close." Mitch's muffled voice surrounds the room.

He can feel Kirstie's arms tightly wrapped around his body. Scott immediately stands up with teary eyes and went to the two. Kneeling down, he gently placed his long arms around them. Kevin joins in without hesitation, tightly embracing his family.

Mitch hysterically sobbed with his hands on his mouth, syncing in his body, shivering in fear and doubt. "It should've been me."

He can still clearly remember the sight of Matt rushing towards him while he does his solo. Embracing him tightly while he heard three loud bang's.

His eyes are wide open staring at Matt's face. The young man slowly smiles at him, blurting out his last words to Mitch.

"Thank you. Take care."
