Chapter 12

Jae Rin's pov

"You even got yourself a girlfriend" Yoongi said beckoning in my direction.

"Wh-What are you talking about?" Taehyung broke from his trance and spoke up.

"Are you kidding me? You thought I wouldn't notice when all that she did was stalk us everywhere we went? She's gotta be your girlfriend if not your personal maid." Yoongi snapped, shrugging his shoulders.

"You can.... see me?" I asked, praying for the impossible.

"What am I? Blind?" Yoongi gave me a wierd look. "Whatever, I'm out of here" he said heading outside.

What is happening right now? Am I hallucinating? I am invisible, I have no doubt about it. But how..?

"Jae Rin-ah" I realised Taehyung was shaking my shoulders. I looked at him, breaking from my thoughts. "What is happening? Do you have any idea how he could also see you?" Taehyung asked worried. "No Taehyung. This is not even mentioned in myths. I have no idea how this happened. I've got to talk to my aunt about this." I said, a bit shaken myself.

"Your aunt?" he asked confused. "Yeah, she is the only person who knows almost everything about my powers. Let me go and call her immediately. She too thinks that I am abroad, so visiting her right now is the same as visiting my grave." I made a terrified face.

Taehyung gave me a cute boxy grin and nodded.

Ring Ring

Just when I wanted to end the call and prevent myself from getting a heart attack I heard a click from the other side. Shit, RIP for me.

"Hi! How are you doing? Oh I missed you soooooo much auntie" I said putting up my most excited voice. "Who did you kill?" she asked in a flat voice from the other side.

"I-I didn't kill anyone auntie. Ouch that really hurts! Why would you think that?" I rubbed the back of my neck as nervousness crept up. "Um I just have a small doubt about my power" I said expecting a response. "Mmhmm" she waited for me to respond. I should have written my last will.

I gulped and continued "Is it possible for...... two people to see my invisible form?". I heard a sharp inhale from the other side and stiffened, welp here it comes.

"WHO DID YOU RUN YOURSELF INTO THIS TIME? DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO AVOID THOSE PEOPLE WHO CAN SEE YOU?" I kept the phone away from my ear to save my eardrum.

A few seconds later when I couldn't hear the yelling I brought the phone back, closer to my ear. I heard her take a deep breath to calm herself down and spoke "Tell me EVERYTHING now" she said. No, there is no way I could tell her that I am a bodyguard now and both the brothers can see me. "No, it's nothing for you to be afraid about auntie. I just ran into someone in my training place when I was invisible and he just greeted me and spoke to me a bit. I am sure that I was in my invisible form at that time. I was actually having a walk around the compound at night, invisible of course" gods I suck at lying.

"You will never tell me the truth will you?" she sighed. "No, I have never heard of something like this happen before, Jae Rin-ah. I can just have a guess about this." she said and remained silent. "And what is it auntie?" I asked, a different kind of terror seizing me.

"One of them is going to be your soulmate and the other is bound to ruin your life. You can never escape them. They are meant to enter your life even when you try to avoid them. Be careful Jae Rin-ah. Figure out who is who before it's too late."

I walked down the stairs, making my way towards the living room. My aunt's words kept ringing inside my head. One of them is going to be your soulmate and the other will ruin your life Jae Rin-ah. I know I can't escape either of them. Why does my heart keep saying that Tae is never going to be the one to ruin my life. But then... does that mean that it's going to be Yoongi? It sort of makes sense as he is a mafia, and he does loathe Taehyung, making him hate me too.

"Wha-" I yelped as I tripped down on one of the stairs. I closed my eyes, waiting for the floor to hit me hard, but the impact never came and I landed on something soft. "Whoa whoa. Earth to Jae Rin." I opened my eyes to see Taehyung holding me in his arms. "L-let me down" I said, escaping from his hold. "What were you thinking about that hard? Did you talk to your aunt? What did she say?" he asked. I flustered about the thought of telling him that he might be my soulmate.

"N-nothing" I said, facing away. "See yourself. You look like a tomato now" he chuckled. "Tell me what your aunt said" he said. "Nope. What are you gonna do?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. He leant closer to me, making me flinch. Goosebumps raised all over my body as he whispered against my ear "You will be pinned to the bed and I will tear down your clothes. I will fuck you so hard that you will forget your identity and even this world". He leaned back and smirked looking down at me.

Blood rushed to my face and I pushed him away. I gulped "I lied to you before". It was his turn to rise a perfect eyebrow now. I continued as he remained silent "A person who can see me...... can either be the one to ruin my life. Or he can be my soulmate". I glanced back at him.

"S-soulmate" he said, his face bright red now. He shook his head and asked "But now Yoongi hyung can also see you right? What does that mean?"

"Yeah, I asked my aunt about that. She said that one of you would be me s-soulmate" I felt embarrased as my voice broke at the end and I cleared my throat. I continued "And the other would be my devil".
