No Where to go but up ( hawks x reader)

chapter 5

Y/n pov

I yawn as I wake up to the sun in the window. I open my eyes sitting up. Keigo was no where to be seen. I look around the room and see a note on the side table with a feather. I smile to myself seeing he left a feather for me. I roll over grabbing the note.

Hey kittin,

I got called to a mission I won't be back for a couple days. Feel free to stay at my place if you want. I left you with one of my feathers.

I smile and pick up the feather making my way out of the bedroom. I walk out of his apapartment locking the door behind me. I walk to my apartment and go in. It diddnt feel right being there without him.  I guess I got up early enough to go to work.
I set the feather down on my table and go to my bedroom.  I change into my work outfit and I grab my purse with my phone and wallet. I grab the feather and put it in my back pocket.

   I lock my door as I head out. I walk down the stairs and made it to the door. I look outside to see only a couple people. I smile and start to wall to the the coffee shop. 

" hey how are you?" I ask as I walk in waving to uraka.

" y/n ! Your here nice to see you at work." Uraka smiled as she press the button for the open sigh.

" yeah I feel better so I thought I'd start working again. " I smiled setting my things down in the back room putting my apron on. I took the feather out of my back pocket and in the pocket if my apron.  I walk back out and start to get to work.

4 hours later

" so are you and hawks a item yet?" Uraka cooed wiggling her eyebrows

I giggle softly blushing.
" no not yet. He's waiting for me to become more comfortable. He said he would wait as long as I needed. " I smiled at the thought.

" he really is a great man. I think you found a good one. So what do you think about him?" 

" he's really nice and protective. I like that about him. He also seems to be understanding about taking it slow and waiting for me to warm up to him. " I smiled putting some cups away.
Uraka squealed and smiled.

" y/n I think you love him. And I wouldn't blame you he sounds great. Not to mention a total hottie."

" i..I dont know. I think I love him, but I always go back to what my ex did. I'm not sure I haven't known him that long." I sigh as I take a sip of coffee I made. Uraka put her hand on my shoulder.

" y/n not everyone is like him. Give him a chance and see if it works out.." she smiled at me before walking away in the back.  I put a couple more cups away and she walks back over to me.  I reach into my apron pocket  trying to find my towel. But I touch the feather instead.

Shit,shit shit shit shit shit....

" uraka ! I'm in deep shit!" I scream and start panicking. She looks over to my worried grabbing my shoulders.

" what what's wrong? Who do I have to hurt!" She asked looking at me with concern.

" you know the feather I've been carrying around all day?"
