A/N: Hey! I don't have much to say... Hope you enjoy! -Alice

Road trips.

Not the most pleasant things.

Especially when you are cramped in a small van with seven other people.

...

You tried to sleep, but knowing the people you were traveling with, that wouldn't be too easy. You curled up into your seat, snuggling into Leo's army jacket that he had let you borrow for the ride. It wasn't the most comfortable thing ever, but the fact that it smelled like him made the deal.

You could feel Leo behind you, tapping Morse code into the back of your seat. He did that when he was nervous, but you couldn't figure out what he was nervous about. You decided to worry about it later.

"Guys, can you quiet down a bit? I'm gonna sleep for a while." you called out to the back of the van. To your left, Annabeth nodded, her eyes fixed on the road.

"Okay!"

"Fine."

"Sure!"

"Of course, princesa!"

You cuddled into Leo's jacket and fell asleep.

...

Your eyes fluttered open. You groaned and rubbed your eyes.

"Have a good sleep, princess?" Leo asked. You nodded. Soon you realized you weren't in the car anymore.

Leo was carrying you on his back up a hill. If that didn't scream best friend, you didn't know what did. You nuzzled your face into his neck, still tired.

"Are you okay? Am I too heavy? I can walk." you said, resting your chin on his shoulder.

"I'm fine. You're not that heavy. Don't worry." Leo replied.

You laughed and ruffled his hair. "Thank you."

"Anytime." he mused.

You reached the top of the hill. Annabeth and Piper set up a picnic area where everyone sat down and talked for a bit.

"You slept a lot. I'm surprised you didn't wake up when Percy was singing 'Part of Your World' at the top of his lungs." Annabeth said to you. Percy scowled at her.

"You make it sound like I'm bad at singing." Percy pouted.

"You are  bad at singing, Percy." Piper chimed in. Jason chuckled.

"Play nice." he said. (A/N: He's such a dad.)

You smiled.

"Percy. Just accept it. You're not the best at singing." Hazel said. Frank nodded in agreement.

"Please don't make us put up with more 'Little Mermaid' songs on the way back. I'm on the brink of insanity!" Leo shouted.

"Sorry to break it to you, but, you're already insane." you giggled.

"Oh, shut up."

"Guys." Jason interrupted. You glared playfully at Leo, then burst out in fits of giggles on the grass.

...

It was finally time to go. Despite the annoyingly long ride, the time you had spent on the hill with the seven had been a blast. Right after you cleaned up the area, Leo stopped you.

Everyone was already in the van except the two of you.

"Leo?" you asked. He looked down.

Was Leo blushing?

"Leo?" you repeated, this time in a mocking tone.

"Are you blushing?"

He shook his head furiously, still looking down.

Before you could react, he leaned in and pecked your lips. You didn't hesitate to kiss back. It was sweet while it lasted, before Annabeth honked the horn from the van.

"Come on, lovebirds! We gotta get back to camp soon!" she yelled. You could practically hear the smirk on her face.

Your face flushed. Leo chuckled.

"Let's go." he whispered.

Then you both headed down the hill together.

A/N: I'm sorry for the trashy ending. I have writer's block, but I have an idea for future updates. Hope you liked it! -Alice
