Leo Valdez x Reader (oneshots)

Movie Date

You and Leo were hanging out in Bunker 9. He was messing with his inventions while you bugged around, being the pest you are. 

  

Leo groaned. "Come on, (Y/N). I'm trying to do this." he said, shooting you a glare. 

"I'm bored. Let's do something," you retorted, poking his back from behind. You rested your head on his shoulder. He sighed and turned to you. His curls were more unruly than ever, and he had machine grease smeared everywhere. His chocolate brown eyes gazed into yours. He pecked your cheek. 

"Ugh, fine... What do you wanna do?" he asked, getting off his stool. He adjusted his tool belt. You smiled. He looked so cute.

"I dunno. Maybe a movie?" you replied, batting your eyes. He laughed, then nodded. You went to the bathroom quickly. You stared into the mirror. Do not mess this up, (Y/N). You finally get him alone, don't be awkward, you thought. The moment was now. You walked to join Leo. He was setting his DVD player up near the TV. 

"What movie did you pick?" you asked. 

"Titanic," he replied, his eyes fixed on the DVD player. His tongue was stuck out, like it was when he focused hard on something.

"Cool! Never seen it before, though. Is it cheesy?" 

"Kinda. It's a romance thing." he said, turning on the TV.

"Perfect." you giggled. You set the couch in front of the television and sat down. Leo settled next to you just as the movie started. You slowly snuggled under a blanket, placing your head on his shoulder. He wrapped one arm around your waist and pulled you closer. Your cheeks flared with color. 

"Are you blushing, princess?" Leo teased. You had to resist the urge to punch him square in the face.

"Oh, shut up! Just watch the movie, dork." you shot back, snuggling further. This was going to be a good time.

(Time Skip)

"I can't believe you're making me watch this, Leo! There's nudity, and death, and tragedy!" you yelled, flailing your arms around. You wiped your face with your sweater sleeve. The movie had made you cry more than any other, and it still wasn't done. Leo chuckled.

"You're cute when you cry," he whispered. You scowled.

"Oh, yeah? Well, then I'm about to get a whole lot cuter!" you wailed, burying your face in his shoulder. You continued watching the movie, until your face was covered in tears. 

...

"Oh my gods, I'm so done Leo! I'll never watch a tragic romance ever again!" you sobbed, storming out of Bunker 9. You couldn't seem to get I'll never let go, Jack out of your mind. You raced to the beach, where you faced the ocean. 

"I hope you're happy, Dad! You sunk their ship, literally and figuratively. They were my new OTP!" you screamed at the sea. You didn't expect anything to happen, but then a man emerged from the water. 

"Dad!" you screamed in surprise. Your shock soon turned to rage, and you completely snapped. 

"You sunk their ship! Jack literally died! I-the-you-ugh!" you stuttered. 

"Look, (Y/N), I was having a bad day..." Poseidon started.

"DAD THEY WERE IN LOVE!" you yelled. In a second, you were sprawled on the beach, sobbing and giggling at the same time. Leo caught up to you, huffing in exhaustion. 

"(Y/N), you know they were made up, right?" he asked, sitting next to you. 

"Yeah, but they were cute. OTP cute. Infinite cute." you laughed. You sometimes went a little too overboard for fictional characters. (A/N: Ringing any bells, fellow fangirls?)

"I didn't know you could go on hardcore movie mode. You completely snapped when Rose said 'I'll never let go, Jack' I thought you were crazy." Leo said. He wiggled his eyebrows. You leaned in to kiss him.

"Ahem. Should I go?" Poseidon asked, sweating nervously. You nodded. 

As soon as Poseidon was gone, you sealed your lips with Leo's. You wrapped your arms around his neck, playing with his curls. He grabbed your waist, and pulled you closer. You parted for air, gazing into his eyes. 

"I'll never let go, Leo," you whispered, then kissed him again.
