You had spent countless hours kneeling next to the stone tomb, whispering to your best friend. Well, he couldn't hear you.... Not anymore....
"Hey, Leo," you mumbled. It was a cold January morning, another day spent talking to the tomb.
"I wanted to talk."
You sighed, wiping your puffy eyes.
"Do you remember-" you croaked.
"Do you remember when we first met? You said some sexist pick-up line and I chased you around camp calling you a 'dirty pig' and an 'immature wimp'. I thought you'd hate me after that.
You didn't."
"Do you remember when I got sick from some weird strawberries? I asked you if you could hold my hair back once I barfed. I thought you would say no.
You didn't."
"Do you remember when I broke my leg and everyone was going to the beach for July 4th? I thought you'd leave me alone and go with them.
You didn't."
"Do you remember when I had a nightmare and I asked you if I could stay the night with you? I thought you would say no.
You didn't."
"I was going to tell you I loved you. I was going to confess my feelings once you came back from your quest....
You didn't."
