"I dare you to touch Y/N's snake." Dixie says.

"Ew." Charli says.

"I don't have that in my pants." I say.

"Bowie." Dixie says point at my snake sitting on my head.

"Hell no." Charli says moving further away.

"He doesn't bite." I say taking him off of my head.

"No." Charli says.

"Party pooper." Dixie says.

Time Skip

"I got you a gift." Dixie says.

"Is it Dunkin?" Charli asks.

"Close your eyes and you will see." Dixie says.

Charli closes her eyes and Dixie lets me in. I hold Bowie near Charli and she smiles.

"Open." Dixie says.

Charli opens her eyes and screams. I put put Bowie on her neck and she starts to cry.

"Remove your mutt." Charli says.

Bowie hisses and Charli looks upset, mad, and pissed in general.

"He prefers to be called a he." I say move him.

"What are you afraid of?" Charli asks.

"Heights." I say.

"Ooh, I dare you to go skydiving." Dixie says.

"Umm, no." I say.

"It's a dare." Charli says.

"Dixie is coming with me." I say.

Time Skip

I'm going, but there's a catch. We're going to prank Charli. We're gonna replace me and Dixie with a dummy and the parachute isn't going to open.

"Think she's suspicious?" I ask.

"Nope." Dixie responds as we put parachutes on.

We opened the plane door and we jumped. 

2 minutes later...

"It's gonna try to open." Dixie yells loud enough for me to hear.

I look down and see the dummies hit the ground.

"Damn." I say.

We land beside the building and peek around the corner. I see Charli crying and Dixie chuckles. We go over to her and I tap her on her shoulder.

"What the fuck?" Charli asks crying.

We hug her and she smiles.

"I thought you died." She says.

"I can see that." Dixie says as I wipe Charli's eyes.

Time Skip

It was about midnight when my door opened. Charli closed it quietly and laid next to me. She faced me and closed her eyes.

We never really sleep in each other's bed so it was weird.

"What's wrong?" I ask turning the light on.

"I can't sleep." Charli says.

"Oh." I say.

"I just don't want to lose you." She says.

"It's not gonna happen for a long time." I say.

"That's not what I meant." She says.

"What did you mean?" I ask.

"I don't want to lose you to Dixie. I know she's your best friend and you hang out all the time. I don't want her to be your girlfriend." She says.

"We would still talk." I say.

"You don't get it. I'm in love with you. I knew I liked you when you stopped a car from hitting people. I knew I loved you when you stopped a 13-year-old girl from killing herself." She says.

"I don't care if you don't like me back. I want to be with —" She says.

I kiss her and she smiles.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." She says.

"It's too early for this shit!" Dixie shouts.

We laugh and Bowie sneaks into her room.

"You better watch your back, you little shit." Dixie says.

I hear hissing then Dixie screams.

"Come get your snake." She says.

"Bowie." I say.

Bowie comes in the room and gets in his cage.

"Good boy." I say.

"I guess now I have to like him." Charli says.

"He's friendly if you don't get in his bad side." I say.

"Like you when you first met Dixie." Charli says.

"Dixie was an asshole when we met." I say.

"Watch your fucking mouth." Dixie says as I turn the light off.

We laugh and I kiss Charli.
