"You gotta come to celebrate." Maddie says.

"I promised Charli I would hang out with her." I say.

"Alright, next time." She says.

I smile and go to Charli's house.

"Hey, Y/n." Marc says.

"Hello, Mr D'Amelio." I say as she lets me in.

He used to hate me when we first met. He thought I was just another player.

"Charli is upstairs." He says.

"Thank you." I say.

I go upstairs and knock on Charli's door.

"Come in." Charli says.

I open the door and she smiles. I kiss her and sit next to her.

"What is my lovely lady doing?" I ask.

"Homework." She says.

I nod my head and she looks at me.

"Not anymore." She says turning to face me.

"You can finish." I say.

"I'm done." She says.

I nod my head and she kisses me.

"What do you want to do?" I ask.

"Since Dixie isn't here and my parents are leaving, maybe we can have some alone time." She says unbuttoning my shirt.

"Whatever you want, princess." I say.

She smiles and I kiss her. She pulls me on top of her and I kiss her neck.

"Y/n." She says.

"Yes?" I ask.

"What's on your chest?" She asks.

I stand up and look down.

"There's red marks on you chest." She says sitting up.

"The ball hit me in the chest." I say.

"Baby." She says.

I look at her and she had tears in her eyes. I don't even know what I did wrong. The other team kicked the ball and it hit me. That's how we won the game.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Why am I not good enough?" She asks.

"You are good enough. What are you talking about?" I say.

"Those are hickeys." She says.

"I would never cheat on you. I don't have to, because I love you." I say.

She stares at me and I sigh.

"Why do you think that I would do that to you?" I ask buttoning my shirt up.

"You have hickeys, you bail on me sometimes, someone else answered your phone, and you said your grandma was sick and she's fine." She says.

I look at her and I sigh.

"What does this mean?" I ask.

"I want you but you don't want me. Now I don't want you." She says.

"You're breaking up with me?" I ask.

"Yeah." She says.

I leave and start to cry. I need her and I just lost her. It wasn't supposed to go down like this. We were supposed to graduate, go to college, get married, adopt kids, and grow old together.

Time Skip

Charli and I shared a locker, because she hated where her locker was. I'm gonna save myself the trouble and go to class.

I sit at a desk and put my head down.

"Are you okay?" Maddie asks standing beside me.

"She broke up with me." I say lifting my head.

"Why?" She asks.

"She thinks I'm cheating on her and I'm not." I say starting to cry.

She hugs me and sits at the desk to me.

"You're gonna be alright." She says as I wipe my tears.

I nod my head and she smiles.

"Alright class, we have a new student. Her name is Addison and she's a foreign exchange student." Mr Hills says.

I don't know why he says class. It's a gifted class and there's like 10 people here. Including Charli.

I look up and I see the same Addison that living in my house for now. She's staying with us until she leaves.

"Go sit next to Y/n." He says pointing at me.

Addison walks to me and sits next to me.

"Y/n will be showing you around." He says.

"Huh?" I ask.

"Please." He says.

"Alright, only because you said please." I say.

He glares at me and I make a weird face. Addison laughs and I smile.

"Go sit with your partners." He says.

Charli was my partner and we couldn't switch.

"Can I go to the bathroom?" I ask.

"No." He says.

"I gottta pee." I say.

"Hold it." He says.

"You can't do that." I say.

He sighs and nods his head.

"Charli, can you take this to Ms Johnson?" He asks as I leave.

I go in the bathroom and Charli comes out of the room. I sit on the counter until the door opened. It was Charli.

"Y/n." Charli says.

"What now?" I ask.

She sighs and sits next to me.

"You know I love you." She says holding my hand.

"You told me I cheated on you when I didn't. You and Maddie are the only girls I talk to. Maddie has a boyfriend." I say looking down.

"I'm sorry. I should've let you explain it." She says.

I nod my head and she gently lifts my head. I look into her brown eyes and she kisses me.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." She says.
