"You expect me to sign without reading it?" I ask.
"Yes." He says.
"Good, because you're right." I say.
He smiles and I sign. I hear a scream and I turn around. I see a shark chasing her and I widen my eyes.
"That's Blue." He says.
I run out of the building and I go to the edge of the dock. I whistle and Blue swims to me. I dig in my pocket and take out a bag with a small fish in it. I dump the fish in the water and he swims away with it.
I help the girl get on the dock and she hugs me.
"Thank you so much." The girl says.
"It's nothing." I say.
She smiles and pushes her wet hair back.
"I'm Charli." She says.
I'm doing everything in my power to not yell at her right now.
"Y/n." I say.
"Charli!" A boy shouts running to us.
"Are you okay?" He asks hugging her.
"Yes." Charli says.
"Y/n, this is Chase, my boyfriend." She says.
Where was he when she almost died 2 minutes ago?
"Nice to meet you." Chase says trying to shake my hand.
"I was just holding a fish head." I say.
"Relatable." He says.
He'll be able to relate to my grandmother soon. She was murdered.
"Please give me your so we can hang out one day." Charli says.
"Okay." I say.
She smiles and gives her phone to me.
Time Skip
"I better get going." I say.
"It was nice meeting you." Dixie says.
"I'll walk you out." Charli says getting up.
I smile and she walks me to the door.
"You know which window it is right?" Charli whispers.
I nod my head and she smiles. I noticed that Chase was looking so I kissed her hand. I wink at him and he clenches his fist.
20 minutes later...
