I saw Y/n running laps around the track and she looked like she was mad about something.

"Y/n." I say.

She smiles and stops running.

"Yeah?" Y/n asks.

"Are you okay? I don't know you well, but you I know you run laps when you're mad." I say.

"I'm just a little disappointed in Charlie." She says.

Charlie was her ex who cheated on her, accused her of cheating, lied to her, and slapped her in front of the whole school. No one knew why she stayed with her. She was still in love with her so she didn't leave her.

She crossed a line after she slept with Y/n's math teacher. She got got pregnant and decided to have an abortion. Charli wasn't a minor back then, but it was still wrong.

"What happened?" I ask.

"She slept with someone else and she's pregnant. She doesn't know who the father is and she's getting another abortion." She says.

"It's not your fault." I say.

"I know, but -" She says.

"No buts, no cuts, no coconuts." I say.

She laughs and I smile.

"If I beat you around the track, you have to let it go." I say.

"You think you could beat someone on the track team?" She asks.

"Yep." I say.

"Alright." She says.

We go to the line and she takes her shirt off.

"You didn't have to flash your abs." I say.

"It might slow you down." She says.

I roll my eyes and she smiles.

"3,2,1." She says.

I run down the track and she runs behind me. I run around it and stop at the line. She stops and I laugh.

"I told you." I say.

"It's kind of hot." Y/n says.

"What?" I ask.

"I like it when girls prove me wrong." She say.

"Of course you do." I say.

She laughs and I smile. We stare at each other and she kisses me. I liked it, but she just caught me off of guard. So yes, I did kiss back.

"Sorry." She says rubbing the back of her neck.

I kiss her and she smiles.

"I like you." She says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Nothing is simple with you. That's my favorite thing about you." She says holding my hand.

I smile and she kisses me.

Time Skip

In Drama class, we had to partner up and practice a scene. Y/n and I got paired together.

"You ready?" Y/n asks.

I nod my head and she smiles.

"That's impossible." I say.

"Barbie says anything is possible." She says.

I laugh and she smiles.

"Read the paper." I say trying to stop laughing.
