My parents are still back home in Italy. They never even call or see me.

"You're gonna go now?" She asks.

She goes in her room and hands me a box of condoms.

"This is your new roommate." Ms Hamilton says.

Jessica went back home after her parents got back from working in Paris.

I looked up and saw a beautiful girl with a perfect smile.

She smiles and leaves.

"Dixie." The girl says.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"My parents have to go work in California for a year. They sent me and my little sister here." Dixie says.

I nod my head and she puts her backpack down.

I see Dixie trying to get her locker and I walk up to her.

"Need help?" I ask.

"Yeah." Dixie says.

I hit the top of the locker and open it. I look up and a bucket of paint spills on me.

"That's that." I say.

"Why would someone do that?" She asks.

"This used to be my locker." I say.

She raises an eyebrow and I sigh.

"I'm a nobody here." I say.

"Not to me." She says.

I smile and she hugs me.

"Now you're covered in paint." I say.

"Fuck it." She says.
