I take a sip of my drink and feel a pain in my eye. I close my eyes and open them.

"Babygirl." I say.

Charli looks up and I signal her to come to me. I pat my leg and she sits on my lap.

"Good now that I'm talking to you." Charli says.

"You wanna get out of here and have some fun?" I whisper in her ear.
