Chapter 14: So Much Pain

Its been 5 months every since Tariq ever talked to Veronica again. And now Veronica is 7 months pregnant and can be due anytime now.

"Baby , don't forget to grab your water,fruits,yogurt,and carrots!" Kavon yelled to Veronica noticing it was time for her to go. Ever since Veronica's baby bump started to show, she has been homeschooled by her grandmother and her little brother and sister, Davon and Dasia stayed at home with Kavon while Veronica's mother went to work.

"Lil' Man !" Kavon called through the door. " Come outside , we going to the park. Daisia is already at the front come on." Kavon explained to him.

*Veronica POV*

I don't know what it was but the babies were causing more trouble then usual in here. I was having contractions like normal but this time they were less than 10 mins apart. It was like every 2 mins. I didn't want my grandma to worry. " Ma , I could use the restroom right quick?" I asked. " Yes , baby girl but hurry up we gotta start working on Calculus. " She reminded me . So I got up, took my water bottle and headed for the bathroom. I didn't want to text Kavon or my mom worrying them . So I just had to think of a way to get out of here and get to the house maybe it just was a rest problem. So I flushed the toilet to make it seem like I used it and went back to the dining table where my grandmother sat. " Ma, my mom just texted me she wants me to pick up something for her.." I said knowing I was lying and hoping she would buy it. " Oh ok, so next class we gonna start with math !" She told me as I kissed her check goodbye.

As Veronica pulled out the house she instantly went home.

When she reached to the house she already found Kavon there, playing with her little brother and sister, " Hey Bae !" He said as he started tickling Daisia. "Hey, I kinda feel sleepy so imma go take a nap." She told him. " Ok,don't sleep too long ." he tried to joke, but she gave a fake smile knowing she was in pain much pain. So she curled herself on the bed holding on to her stomach. She found herself clenching her stomach every 2 mins, the contractions were bad. After a few minutes painless, Veronica suddenly realized a trail of water coming down her leg. She instantly thought to herself. "But wait, I'm only seven months ,they can't be co ing now!" She thought. Then she wasnt thinking anymore it was time ! So she grabbed the hospital bag, and yelled to Kavon, "Kavon ! Its time! The girls wanna come out..."
