-Vale.-
Muto explored Vale, tired of being stuck in Beacon for so long. The whole city looked lively and vibrant, as well as very busy.
Though she was very conscious of the looks she was getting.
Many in Vale looked at her with gratitude, but some had fearful expressions on their faces.
She couldn't blame them though.
"Hey! Thieves! Someone stop them!" Someone shouted.
Muto held out two of her arms and managed to clothesline the thieves. When she bent down to look at the two, she noticed that they had animal features.
The thieves were Faunus, members of the White Fang as Muto recalled.
"Okay." She said. "Now, why are you stealing from some old man, huh?"
One of the Faunus took a swing at the Kaiju, but the blow was dodged. Muto countered by punching her in the gut.
Though the Faunus doubled over in pain, Muto's attack wasn't full force.
"That was a, how you say, love-tap." She said, smirking. "Now, run along. But not before handing over the things you stole."
The two Faunus left their ill-gotten goods and ran away.
Muto chuckled to herself. Though not a fight, what had transpired was the perfect stress relief.
She returned the items to the clerk and continued her stroll through the city.
-Mistral.-
A group of Huntsmen were currently running for their lives, as something was chasing them.
A scream echoed through Mistral's alleys, telling the group that another of their number had just been cut down.
The group readied themselves for battle, as a shadow came into view.
Followed by flying saw discs.
Two of the Huntsmen were killed by these saw discs, their heads hitting the ground as the discs embedded themselves in the wall behind them.
The figure approached the remaining Huntsmen, no fear evident to them. He appeared to be a cyborg, with golden scales covering parts of some incredibly advanced machinery.
The figure rushed the group, and cut three of them down with frightening ease.
He then shot a Death Ray at a fourth which split into smaller projectiles that afterwards, shot into their target.
The Huntress was covered in laser burns, as she fell to the ground dead.
The last Huntsman had already evacuated his bladder as he stood frozen in fear.
"Wh-What are you?" He stammered.
"You may call me... Gigan." Gigan said.
Gigan opened the center of his chest, revealing a massive saw that started spinning rapidly.
He grabbed the Huntsman and pulled him into his chest. The man's screams echoed through the night as he was sawed in two.
-Beacon.-
Ruby started waking up after the sun came up. She stretched her arms, before looking to her side.
Seeing Weiss asleep in a chair by her bed.
Ruby blushed as she realized what had happened between them wasn't a dream.
She got up and got dressed in some casual clothes. She didn't have any plans to go back to Emerald Forest for awhile, the encounter with the Crawler was still fresh in her mind.
Ruby stepped away from the wardrobe, and stepped in something wet.
This caused her to look down to see what she stepped in. Only to see that it was blood.
Ruby's breathing started to pick up as she turned around to see the eviscerated corpses of Yang, Blake, and Weiss.
Ruby started hyperventilating as tears ran down her face. Suddenly, she heard a low growl from behind her.
She looked behind her, and the Crawler pounced.
Ruby shot up from her bed screaming. This woke up Weiss, who went to calm her friend down.
"Ruby, Ruby! You're okay, it was just a dream. It's okay... It's okay." She said soothingly.
Ruby panted as tears flowed from her eyes. Her entire body was covered in sweat, and she looked at Weiss and hugged her tightly.
"They're getting worse, Weiss." She whimpered. "This time, it had killed you, Blake, and Y-Yang."
Weiss returned the hug, trying to comfort her friend and leader.
She had never seen Ruby so afraid, or so... broken before.
"It won't kill us, Ruby. I promise." She said. "We'll get through this, okay? And I'll be right here. We're right here with you."
Ruby looked at Weiss, and managed a small smile. Over the course of their adventures, Ruby had started developing a crush on Weiss, but she didn't know if the former Heiress felt the same way.
"Weiss." She said hesitantly. "I-"
Suddenly a loud and familiar roar rang through the sky.
Ruby froze in fear. She knew what that roar belonged to.
Outside the wall surrounding Vale, the Crawler, now the same size as Muto roared it's challenge to the city.
Godzilla exited the Academy along with Rodan and Mothra.
Muto saw the creature and ran back to home base.
The Crawler growled as it readied itself for a fight.
The Siege of Vale was about to begin.
Guess who's back? Also, say hello to Gigan everyone! Gigan's design for his Kaiju form is a combination of his Showa and Millennium appearances. He's also the only Kaiju whose Faunus form is almost entirely cybernetic. But as always, comment, rate and leave advise so I can improve. See you guys in the next chapter! Have a good night guys.
