Chapter Sixty-One: Godzilla vs Destoroyah

"Weiss! Weiss!" Ruby yelled. "Weiss, where are you!? Answer me! Please!"

"Ruby..." Weiss groaned.

Ruby turned around and saw her wife almost buried by debris. Her Aura took most of the impact, but she was still seriously injured.

"Oh my God, Weiss!" Ruby exclaimed. "Hold on! Hey! Battra, help me!"

Battra turned back into his Faunus form, which looked like a spikier Mothra, and lifted the debris that trapped Weiss, only to see she was in really bad shape.

A piece of metal was lodged into her stomach and her white corset was stained red with her own blood.

"Oh God..." Ruby breathed.

"How-ngh! How bad is it?" Weiss asked.

"W-well. It-" Ruby began.

"You're going to die from that injury." Battra stated.

"BATTRA!" Ruby yelled.

"What?" Battra asked, genuinely confused. "She asked."

"Heh... Kaiju bluntness." Weiss chuckled. "Listen, Ruby... You need to... Get out of here."

"Not without you." Ruby said firmly. "I'm not leaving here without you."

Suddenly the ice holding Destoroyah cracked audibly, getting everyone's attention.

"You have to... Or he'll... kill you too." Weiss urged.

"No..." Ruby begged, in tears. "Please don't make me do this..."

"I love you..." Weiss said. "Now get the hell out of here..."

Cracks began to form around the frozen Destoroyah as it started braking free from its imprisonment.

Battra stood up, grabbed the piece of metal impaling Weiss and ripped it out, making her scream.

Battra then cast a spell on Weiss which started healing her wound.

"Healing magic is more Mothra's specialty." He said. "But this will stop you from bleeding out at least."

Destoroyah snarled as it began shattering the ice around it. It's tail began moving and it managed to break an arm free.

"Grab her and let's get Rodan." Battra said. "We're getting out of here."

Ruby grabbed Weiss just as Destoroyah broke out of its icy bonds with an angry roar.

"Well that didn't hold long." Yang said. "Fire again!"

Kiryu fired another shot from its Absolute Zero Cannon, but Destoroyah dodged the attack and it froze the mountain behind it.

Destoroyah was many things, but stupid wasn't one of them.

Magenta energy crackled across its frills and it then fired an Oxygen Destroyer Beam at Kiryu, hitting it in the chest and destroying its Absolute Zero Cannon.

Kiryu started to freeze and Yang and Blake decided it was time to leave and ejected from the doomed mech.

Destoroyah then shattered Kiryu with its tail with a roar and turned in time to see Battra land where Rodan was.

Battra looked at Destoroyah and roared for Ruby to hurry.

"I'm working on it, okay!? You guys are heavy!" She yelled, before she raised an eyebrow. "That's weird. I'm starting to speak Kaiju."

Destoroyah roaring got her attention and it was about to fire its Oxygen Destroyer Beam at the two, when it was hit by a beam of sapphire blue light, knocking it down.

Ruby knew the Atomic Breath when she saw it, and a smile crossed her face.

"That thing's in trouble now." She said.

"RUBY!" Yang shouted, getting her attention. "Got room for two more!?"

"Yang! Blake!" Ruby said happily. "Get on, quick!"

Godzilla roared at Destoroyah who returned the gesture with its own roar and the two circled each other.

A god versus his devil. The King of the Monsters versus the Oxygen Destroyer Fiend. Godzilla versus Destoroyah.

Godzilla roared at Destoroyah and then charged at it, who did the same and the two Kaiju collided against each other. Godzilla slashed Destoroyah with his claws, but all he generated was sparks.

Destoroyah returned the gesture and achieved a more successful rendition of the attack. It then tripped the reeling Godzilla with its tail, but while Godzilla was still on the ground, he hit Destoroyah's leg with his tail, but it did nothing.

Destoroyah looked at Godzilla's tail, then roared at the King of Monsters, before trying to slash him open with its Horn Blade.

Godzilla countered by firing his Atomic Breath in Destoroyah's face, which blasted the horn off as well as a frill.

Destoroyah recoiled and roared in pain, as Godzilla stood up and his body became covered in silver and purple markings.

Godzilla roared at Destoroyah as he fired three Atomic Breath attacks at Destoroyah using his powers, which forced Destoroyah to dodge.

The Oxygen Destroyer Fiend then charged Godzilla, who did the same, before at the last second ducked Destoroyah who raked its body across Godzilla's spines.

Godzilla stood up and glared at Destoroyah, as its left arm fell to the ground. It roared in pain, before Godzilla fired many beams from his spines that flew into the air, then hit Destoroyah.

Destoroyah roared in agony before silence reigned on the battlefield. Godzilla glared at the smoke as it cleared.

Destoroyah was nowhere to be seen, but Godzilla wasn't convinced he had destroyed it. His suspicions were confirmed when he felt many things crawling on his body and when he saw them they looked like smaller many legged versions of Destoroyah.

The Destoroyahs sank their jaws into Godzilla's flesh, which caused him to roar in pain as they tried to kill him by using their Oxygen Destroyer Beams while their jaws were in Godzilla's flesh.

Godzilla thrashed around and slammed into the side of the mountain, trying desperately to get his attackers off of him. He kept doing this until he had destroyed the mountain.

Godzilla felt his body start to fall apart, and finally his spines started glowing, burning the Destoroyahs on them, and he then released a Nuclear Pulse that fried or dislodged the rest.

When the dust settled, Godzilla was surrounded by dead Destoroyahs and he then roared in triumph. He had won this fight.

But Destoroyah had survived and scurried back to its lair. It needed to replenish its numbers and then kill Godzilla.

But brute force wasn't going to work. No. Destoroyah knew it would need to take a... Different approach. It would study Godzilla. Find out what his weaknesses were. And then use said weaknesses against him.

One of the small Destoroyahs managed to survive. Round one goes to Godzilla. Until the next chapter, comment, rate and leave advice so I can improve. Have a good night guys.
