Chapter Twenty Nine: Get out of my House

Muto and the Big One charged at one another, colliding into each other mere moments later.

Muto was first to act, using one of her clawed forelegs to slash the Crawler's side.

The Big One let out a pained roar before it snarled at the Kaiju.

She had drawn first blood.

The Big One charged Muto again, but this time it pounced at the Kaiju midway through.

Muto was caught off guard, but managed to shake the Grimm Hybrid off of her, following up with a charge of her own.

Mothra let out a trill as she fired her Light Rays at the Crawlers that were in Vale.

Godzilla loosed another Atomic Breath at the horde, before one wrapped its tail around his right arm.

The Crawler hissed at its victim, before Godzilla grabbed its tail and yanked it to him.

Godzilla used his unwilling helper as a weapon, hitting other Crawlers with it, before slamming it into another Crawler.

The Crawler Godzilla was swinging around was slammed into the ground hard, the impact killing it instantly.

Godzilla swung the dead Crawler around, killing more Crawlers before throwing the corpse at one that was eating a dead Huntress.

Rodan flew around, firing his Uranium Beam at more Crawlers, burning them alive.

He then flew to Mothra.

"Mothra, go help Muto!" He yelled. "We got this, don't worry! Just make sure that big bastard can't shell more out!"

Mothra chirped a reply, before flying to help her fellow Kaiju.

Meanwhile, Team RWBY were making their way to help Godzilla. Since the forward defense line had been hit the hardest, they were wiped out almost immediately.

With it gone, Godzilla was in the thick of the battle, on his own, and surrounded by ravenous beasts.

Ruby was still shaking slightly, but she fought through her fear to help her friend.

"Come on, we need to hurry!" She said.

"Does he really need our help?" Yang asked. "I mean, this is Godzilla we're talking about here. I'm pretty sure he's got the front on lock."

"He's strong, but he's alone." Blake replied. "It doesn't matter how good you are as a fighter, eventually sheer numbers will overwhelm you."

"Blake's right. Let's keep going!" Weiss agreed.

The group eventually arrived at the entrance to Vale, only to see one of the worst massacres they've ever seen.

The corpses of Huntsmen and Huntresses as well as Crawlers.

The sight was enough for all of them to almost vomit.

Weiss stepped back, and stepped on something, causing a crunching noise to be heard.

The Heiress looked at her feet, and picked up a pair of glasses.

"Guys..." she breathed. "These are Professor Goodwitch's glasses."

The others were stunned by the news, but silently agreed to keep moving.

Muto swatted another attack away with her head, before biting the Big One's hand.

The Big One roared in pain, and tried to get the Kaiju to let go of its leg.

Muto grunted as one of the Crawler's claws hit her head, causing her to let go of its limb.
