I smile at Dylan, Austin, and Louis playing Whack-A-Mole.
"Oh, you stupid little. . .fudge sickle," Louis stops himself.
My stomach has a pain again and I bite my lip.
Louis looks over and frowns.
"Whack those moles," he says and walks over to me.
I force a smile and take a drink of my soda.
"Feeling alright?" he asks.
I nod. "I feel great."
"No, you don't. You can't lie to me, Kay," he says and sits down next to me.
I sigh. "My stomach's been hurting a little."
He feels my forehead. "You don't have a fever. Do you feel like you're going to throw up?"
"It's on and off," I say.
"Maybe we should get you home," he says quietly.
"Louis, I'm fine," I fake a smile.
"Kay, Dylan can stay with Austin. They'll be fine," he takes my hand.
I look over at the two boys playing games like their lives depended on it.
"Okay," I say finally.
We both stand up and walk over to Austin and Dylan.
"Dyl, Mama doesn't feel well so Daddy's gonna take her home, okay?" Louis looks at Dylan.
He puts his tickets down and hugs my legs.
"Feel better, Mommy," he whispers.
I smile. "I will."
He walks back to his tickets and Austin looks at me.
"Feel better, ba- Kay," he says.
I nod and Louis puts his arm around my shoulders.
"Come on," he whispers and kisses my cheek.
Slowly, we walk out the door and head to the car.
The pain in my stomach becomes sharp all at once and I drop to my knees.
"Kay!" Louis puts a hand on my back and looks at me worriedly.
I take deep breaths and nod.
"F-Fine," I mumble.
He helps me up and gently carries me bridal style to the car.
My stomach hurts more and more by the second and he sets me in the passenger seat, buckling me in.
Once he gets in, he looks at me.
"Do you think we should go to a hospital?" He asks.
"Maybe," I nod.
"Okay," he says and starts the car, pulling out of the parking lot.
I look out the window and try to breathe normally.
We get to the hospital and he jumps out of the car.
I open my door and slowly get out.
He rushes to my side and walks me into the hospital.
"Excuse me, ma'am?" He looks at the lady behind the front desk.
"Oh, hi, Louis," she smiles.
"Hi, my girlfriend, Kay, has been having stomach pains. Really bad ones," he looks at me.
"Oh, sweetie, come with me," she takes my hand and leads me down the hall to a room.
Louis follows close behind and I walk into the room and sit on the bed.
"Kay, do you feel like you have to vomit or is it just sharp pains?" She asks.
"Both, I guess," I say.
She nods. "How long has this been happening?"
"It just started earlier today," I bite my lip.
She writes something down on her clipboard.
"Kay, do you have sex with Louis?"
My eyes widen.
"Um, what?" Louis asks.
"Let me rephrase that, do you have sex regularly?"
"I. . .well. . ." I look down.
"Kay, answer her," Louis says through clenched teeth.
"Yes," I mumble.
"Have you thought about taking a pregnancy test?" She asks.
"Nope," I say.
Louis tenses up.
"I'll see if I can get you one, alright? I'll be back," she stands up and walks out.
"You had sex with Austin?" Louis asks.
"Louis," I frown.
"Kay, do you love Austin?" He looks at me.
"I love you, Louis," I say quietly.
"But do you love Austin too?"
"No," I smile.
"But you had sex with him? A lot?" he stares at me.
"Yes, but I know you had sex with Carrie," I say.
"That's different," he crosses his arms.
"How?" I ask.
"I. . .she's not Austin," He says.
"Well, no shit," I roll my eyes.
The nurse walks in with a small white stick.
"Here, the bathroom's right down the hall," she hands it to me.
I stand up and walk out to the hall and into the bathroom.
After I take the test, I keep my eyes away from it and walk back in.
"Did it come up positive?" Louis asks.
"I don't know, I'm not looking," I say and the nurse takes it from me.
Louis slowly takes my hand and puts his arm around me.
I look at him and lay my head on his shoulder.
"Well," the nurse starts.
I hold my breath and Louis rubs my back.
"It'll be okay," he whispers. "I'll stay by your side all the way."
I nod and hold his hand tightly.
"Positive," she says.
The room grows dark and everything goes black.
Okay, AAAAGGGHHHHH, nuff said.
