A/N: Hey, guys. I think this is by far the saddest chapter of the entire story.

Be prepared. I was honestly crying when I wrote this. And yes, I have a sort of song that themes this chapter and it's called Broken by Lifehouse. It's a sad song for a sad chapter and if you haven't heard it, please listen to it.

I love all of you! Sorry I haven't updated in a while...I hope this (SAD) chapter makes up for it.

====================

"Kay? We...we need to talk." Louis' voice cracks when he speaks.

I set Dylan back down in his play pen. (He could now sit up on his own and crawl a few feet.)

"You okay?" I ask slowly.

"No, I'm not. I haven't been...concentrating on the band since we've had Dylan." He chokes out.

I stare at him. "What do you mean?"

"Simon says I'm...he says I'm not ready to be a father." He looks close to tears.

"But, Louis you are a father. A wonderful father." I sit next to him.

"I can't be a father, Kay."

The words linger in the air like smoke.

"You already are." I say again.

"Listen to me! I can't be a father! I'm either in this band or I'm with Dylan and you." His voice quavers.

"You can do both." I try to sooth him.

"No, I can't, Kay!" He sobs.

"What are you talking about?" I ask, confused.

"You have to leave." He says quietly.

"What?" My breath hitches.

"You have to leave. You and Dylan both." He repeats.

"Louis..." I look at him with a hurt expression.

"I'm sorry." He whispers. "I'll help you pack."

He stands up and I just look at him.

"Kay, you have to go. Now."

"What is this?" I ask suddenly.

"What do you mean?"

"What is this?" I repeat.

He bites his lip. "This is...this is me breaking up with you."

The tears sting my eyes. "Louis-" My voice cracks.

"I'll pack up all of Dylan's toys and stuff." He whispers and walks into the other room.

My whole body aches. I can't even comprehend what just happened.

Slowly, I pick Dylan up and walk downstairs.

"Hey, Kay!" Harry smiles.

I look at him with teary eyes and his smile fades. "He didn't. Not yet."

I nod and look at the ground.

He frowns and sucks in a breath. "A-Are you packing?"

"He's packing up Dylan's stuff right now." I mumble.

"I'm sorry, Kay." He hugs me gently.

"Why..." I swallow hard. "Why did he just..?"

"Simon says he isn't ready to be a father."

"What about Dylan? Is he just gonna forget about him?" I ask.

"I don't know what's gonna happen." He sighs.
