Things Are Strange, I Like It Like That.

Chapter Five

"She's so cute when she's asleep. Should we wake her up?" Harry whispers.

"No let her sleep, she's had enough today." Louis whispers back.

"Well, we can't just leave her in the car." Niall says.

I feel strong arms pick me up and carry me in the house. I open my eyes to see Louis looking down at me and smiling.

"What time is it?" I ask, sleepily.

"It's about twelve thirty." He whispers.

"Mhm..Louis..?"

"What, love?"

"I'm sorry I went away and I didn't tell you guys..I'm sorry I scared you and I..I'm just...sorry."

Louis opens my bed room door and lays me down on my bed.

"It's okay, Kaleigh. I know all of the pain you are going through, just please don't ever do that again."

I nod and look into his deep, blue eyes. Suddenly I had a feeling that I never had before. It came from deep inside my stomach, like tingling. Before I knew what was going on, my lips were pressing against his. The feeling is incredible, I feel I am floating. When we both pull away, Louis's cheeks were bright red.

"Uh..did we just..goodnight, Kay. Uh..goodnight." Louis jumps up and scrambles out of my room. I look at my doorway for a few moments then fall on my pillow. I never had feelings for Louis..did I? I mean I've always loved him, but I never thought I loved him in that way. Ugh why is everything so confusing right now in my life? Why can't I just be normal?

I wake up and run downstairs. I am starving. I realize that I haven't eaten anything since yesterday morning.

"Morning, Kay. How'd you sleep?" Liam stands there in his boxers eating a bowl of cereal.

"Uh..good..I guess." I say reaching for the cereal box.

"You guess?" He raises his eyebrow.

"I slept fine. Uh..where are all the boys?" I felt like I shoudn't say Louis, even though that's who I really want to know about.

"They're still asleep," Liam laughs. "It is six am."

I glance at the clock. It was six in the morning, wow hunger must have woken me up.

"Oh. Hey can I tell you something?" I pour out the cereal into my bowl.

"Sure, babe. Go ahead."

"Okay. Well, last night..Louis and I umm sort of...kissed."

Liam chokes on his cereal. "What? You kissed?"

"Shh, Liam! Scream it why don't you."

"How? Why? Oh my Gosh!" He was grinning.

"I don't know. We were just talking and then we..kissed."

"So are you guys a couple now?"

"Again, I don't know. He ran away blushing right after we did." I shrug and lift a spoonful to my mouth.

"Well I would too if I just kissed my bestfriend. Do you have feelings for him?"

"I think so..but I'm not sure if he has feelings for me..it's just confusing."

"Oh my God. You kissed Louis?" Niall jumps up and down in the kitchen.

"Yes she did! Last night! How much did you hear?" Liam squeals.

"All of it! Find out if he likes you! We will for you." Niall hugs me.

"Don't make this a big deal guys. Like I said he ran away red cheeked after words."
