"You started to hang out with our upperclassmen and not us was all because of this Precure thing," Mirio rolled his eyes.
"Your point?" Ayako gave the boy a look. "You haven't stopped repeating that line since we started walking."
"Sorry, I can't help it." Mirio apologized.
"No matter." Ayako sighed. "We need to pick up the pace if we need to get to school on time."
"Who's at fault?" Cora glared.
"I can't help it if my brother got engaged to a girl who is stressful to work with." Ayako dismissed.
Arriving at homeroom mere minutes before their teacher, the group was pleased they didn't get into trouble for being late.
"Hagaruma!" the teacher screeched.
"Yes." Ayako stared at the teacher, earning muffled giggles from the class.
"Can you tell me the Roman name of the Greek God, Poseidon?" requested the teacher.
". . . Neptune." Ayako replied when the answer clicked.
"Correct, you may sit." the teacher turned back to the class.
At lunch . . .
"You got called out?" Ako cackled. "What did you do to make Ms. Lyre call on you?"
"I was spacing out during class and I wasn't paying attention," Ayako admitted.
"This isn't like you, Ayako," Gina pointed out. "What has gotten you so distracted?"
"The wedding and being a Precure." Ayako sighed. "What else could it be?"
"I can see why it may be causing your mind to wander, but you should focus on school." Gina reasoned.
"Easier said than done." Ayako rubbed her eyes. "You two don't have to worry because the stress I am going through may be causing me to lose sleep at night."
"Don't remind me." Ako rolled her eyes.
"I have noticed you going to sleep late recently." Gina tapped her chin.
"I want to go back to being normal," Ayako said wistfully.
"Do you regret making me and meeting us?" Chain inquired.
"Yeah." Ayako stood up. "If I didn't trip over the box that day and made you, the thing known as Precure wouldn't have come into my life and changed it."
"Ayako!" The older teens called before she stormed off.
Storming home in her fury, Ayako slammed her bedroom door shut and changed before hiding under the covers of her bed.
"Ayako, can we talk?" Fuyumi asked from the other side of the door.
"Okay." Ayako drawled. "Come in."
"Is something bothering you?" Fuyumi inquired.
"How did you become a Precure?"
"I tripped over a box and after that, my life changed. Why do you ask?"
"I tripped over a box as well and my life changed, but I'm not if they change was good or not."
"Are you feeling a little stressed?"
"I guess."
"Why don't we go shopping, it will take your mind off things."
"Okay."
While out shopping, the two stop at a cafe for something to eat and Ayako was silent.
"Ayako, are you okay?" Fuyumi asked.
