Resting on the floor after the days work with the fans blasting and ice packs galore, the group was given refreshments just as the routine dictated along with a poster.
"What is this, Grandmother?" Ayako asked.
"I thought we should all go to the Summer Festival the town holds." her grandmother replied. "You girls deserve the break."
"We would love to go." the group exclaimed.
"Thank you so much." Ayako smiled.
"Your grandfather and I have a stall there and thought you girls would like to help as you enjoy the festival."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"We would love to."
"Did I also tell you this will be the last one your grandfather and I will be attending?"
". . . What?!"
"Why?"
"We're getting on in age and this was part of the reason why we decided to have you all here this year."
"What's wrong, Ayako?"
"Thank you for letting us stay and I wouldn't trade the time with you for the world."
"It's alright, dear, but we must thank you as well."
"Why do you say that?"
"For being our granddaughter and protecting us."
"What do you mean?"
"We know you four are hiding a secret and we couldn't be more grateful for you fighting to protect us and this farm."
"You knew we were the Precure?"
"Yeah, I guess you could say that."
"Just one question though."
"What is a Precure?"
"You can come on out, Violetta, Chain and Gear."
"I think we all should know what the Precure is."
"Where would you like us to start?"
"Starting at the beginning would be nice."
"Long ago . . ."
As the group was setting up the stall at the Festival, Ayako took notice of the lack of people there and so did the rest of the group.
"Why aren't there many stalls here?" Ako asked.
"Not many people want to stay in the town and have moved somewhere else." Ayako's grandfather answered.
"Do you know why that is?" Gina inquired.
"Everyone wants to move to a beachside town, much where you were all staying in before coming to help us." Ayako's Grandmother set up her stall.
"We have to do something." Ayako stood tall.
"You don't have to."
"But I want to."
"If you insist, but what are you going to do?"
"I may have an idea."
"You do?"
"Yeah, I . . ."
Fuyumi had her friends come over to the town and asked them to spread the word and get more people from the town to join in with the festival. They went off to that and Fuyumi set out to put posts online to get her fans to come along. Fuyumi had her friends do the same thing and after a day's work of getting the festival set up, the festival was ready to begin.
