"What are you drawing this time, Kiriya?" Ayako asked.
"A girl and some friends." Kriya showed a drawing.
"This is amazing." Ayako smiled. "What made you draw them?"
"The signed picture by the Precure," Kiriya replied. "I have it framed in my room."
"So cool." Ayako gushed.
"Back to your seats everyone." the teacher announced.
"See you later, Kiriya." Ayako waved.
-
"Are you sure these girls can be defeated?"
"Most certainly."
"Go and do something about it."
"As you wish."
-
'I wonder . . .'
Finishing off her homework, Ayako found a blank journal and started writing. Despite only writing for personal reasons, Ayako found she couldn't get the drawing Kiriya did out of her head and wanted to write a story for them.
"Ayako?" Gina tapped the girl's shoulder.
"Yes?" Ayako covered her work.
"Writing a story I see," Gina smirked. "What is it for?"
"I, um, uh . . ." Ayako opened and closed her mouth like a fish.
"It's for Hikawa, isn't it?" Gina cocked an eyebrow.
"Mmhm." Ayako hummed.
"What made you want to write a story for him?" Gina inquired.
"He showed me a drawing he made and I haven't been able to forget it." Ayako sighed. "So I thought about writing a story around it."
"That is so sweet." Gina cooed.
"I think its a little stupid." Ayako scratched her neck.
"Don't be so ashamed about it," Gina placed a hand on the girls back. "I think you should show him your work."
"Really?" Ayako fiddled with a pen.
"Yeah." Gina smiled.
"I'll think about it." Ayako sighed.
Walking to her classroom, Ayako was flipping through the pages of her journal of the story she wrote and hugged it close so she could focus on her breathing. Flipping through the pages while sitting at her desk, Ayako made small doodles here and there to add interest.
"Hey, what are you working on?" Cora scared Ayako.
"Don't do that," Ayako stressed.
"Sorry, Ayako." Cora apologized. "But seriously, what are you working on?"
"I wrote a story and I'm adding doodles to it," Ayako confessed.
"Cool," Cora exclaimed. "Can I see it?"
"Hey, give it back." Ayako ran after her friend.
"No way." Cora teased. "Hey."
"Thank you, Mirio." Ayako hugged the journal.
"All good, Ayako." Mirio ruffled her hair.
"Ayako, Daimu." Chain whisper yelled.
"Right," Ayako replied. "Care to cover for me?"
"Sure thing, go and get it." Mirio pushed her.
Meeting the group at a playground near the school, they had to move out of the way from the Daimu so they didn't get crushed and found an opportunity to transform.

Precure! Wind my gears!
Clicking the pen and drawing on-air, Ayako got a high waisted layered skirt and a long sleeve shirt that went around below her shoulders. Placing her feet into a circle gave her mid-knee boots and stockings.
Long ponytails were made in her hair mid-back length garnet hair with the change to more of the rose tint. A top hat on a hairband soon followed and the pen made room in a bag which manifested from it.
Clicking the pen and drawing on-air, Gina got a bodice-like dress and an asymmetrical skirt that ended at her feet as it wrapped around the midthigh skirt of the dress with a bow placed at her stomach. She drew a square with her feet and as it glowed, she was given high heeled ankle boots and leggings.
A long ponytail was made in her short deep orange hair with the change to more of the lighter tint of the color, which also gave her a fringe. A watch at the starting point of the ponytail soon followed and the pen made room in a bag which manifested from it.
Clicking the pen and drawing on-air, Ako got a dress with a strap wrapped around the left shoulder and the skirt of the dress that ended midthigh and fabric that was split at the belly that wrapped around her. She drew a diamond with her feet and as it glowed, she was given heeled knee-high boots and thigh-high fishnets.
A long ponytail was made with her deep purple hair with the change to more of the lighter tint of the color, which went to her right. A gear was at the start of the ponytail and bat wings manifested on her back which was soon followed the pen making room in a bag manifested from it.
Clicking the pen and drawing on-air, Fuyumi got an asymmetrical skirt and a bodice that shaped her torso and chest. Placing her feet into a star gave her ankle boots and asymmetrical socks.
A long ponytail was made in her hair mid-back length grey hair with the change to more of the lighter tint. A crown was on her head soon followed and the pen made room in a bag which manifested from it.
"May these wings help me to fly in the light of love. Cure Butterfly!"
"The clock that forever winds forwards and backward. Cure Watch!"
"May these wings guide me through the darkness and into the light of day. Cure Bat!"
"The stains on a robot aren't all that. Cure Rust!"

"Hello, Precure." said a familiar voice.
"You." Butterfly hissed.
"What are you doing here?" Bat snapped.
"Doing my job." the woman rolled her eyes. "Daimu, get them."
"Daimu."
"Woah." the group jumped out of the way.
"Good luck avoiding it." the woman blew some hair out of the way.
Jumping and ducking out of the way of the Daimu, the group threw some attacks of their own and eventually cornered it after wearing it down.
"Precure! Change Ship!"
With their outfits changing to a creamy white with their colors as accents, the trio stood tall and looked ahead.
"Our synced light is to save you. Precure! Gear Change!"
"Thank you for the fight." the woman bowed.
"We'll see you next time." the girls de-transformed.
Sitting alone with Kiriya at lunch, Ayako held out the journal to him and he took it to have a look through it.
"Did you write this?" Kiriya asked, flipping through the pages.
"Yeah." Ayako smiled. "I wrote it about the characters you drew."
"Are you serious?" Kiriya exclaimed.
"Mmhm." Ayako hummed. "Is the writing okay?"
"Absolutely."
"Thank you."
