Chapter 12 - Setting Up Their First Date

I couldn't stop thinking about Hope. I was just...shocked at what she told me. She shouldn't have done it in my opinion but she trusts me and I trust her. It was now a Friday, which meant it was one step closer to the weekend. I was laying next to Hope, she was way more relaxed today as she had her arm wrapped around my waist. I then thought to myself...

How about asking her on a first date? Now that was a great idea.

 I smiled at myself for that, before I slowly began to move off the bed, until Hope let out a small groan as she woke up and just stared at me for a few seconds. "What are you doing?" she asked me, "You should stay in bed with me." Was she being...possessive with me? Was that a vampire thing? 

"I know you had a moment yesterday, but we can't just stay in bed all day. We have to do something to keep ourselves up." I told her, before she released her grip on me to sit up. Oh great, she slept naked. I don't have a problem with it, but damn...snap out of it!

"What do you suggest, then?" she asked me, her eyes were a beautiful pale blue again so that was good. I took a small breath before saying to her, "I want to take you on our first date." 

I then watched her eyes widen a little in a bit of a surprise, then she gave me a large smile before her cheeks became a light red. "Really? I never went on a date before, like ever..." she told me which made my heart skip a beat. She never went on a date? She never had any relationships? Then why was she so good at touching? Oh do shut up, Layla...she's an vampire!

"Yes, really. I will have to set a few things up so give me until lunch time." I said to her before her smile grew. I never saw her like this, it was so adorable. She deserves to be spoilt after what she went through all those years ago. 

"Okay, baby. I will get dressed in my favourite outfit, do you need any money to get the things that you need?" she asked me. God...she was so kind! 

"I don't think so." I replied before I got out of the bed and went into the wardrobe to get ready for the big day ahead. I decided to wear something different, which was a yellow dress with a black belt tied around it. It was actually Hope's, because I still didn't have my own. 

"What time do you want me to come down?" she asked me. Great question. I looked over to the clock, the time was 1 in the afternoon. And I wasn't even surprised. We were pretty tired from the experiences...

"Meet me outside at the garden at 3 o clock. So in two hours." I replied to her simply, which made her nod. "Got it." she told me before I then left the room and closed the door behind me. I do hope that there was a garden with a lot of space in it, so there was one way of finding out and that was to go outside.

I walked downstairs and went past the living room and the kitchen, towards the back door which was a windowed black one. I peeked through the window and saw that there was a perfect spot for a picnic. Well, not really a picnic, I just wanted to let her know that she was a beautiful and strong person inside and out. I wanted to make it official too...I knew it was a bit too early for that yet, but I didn't care because I think I finally found my true love. 

Stop gazing at the blue sky and find a picnic blanket. 

I obeyed my own command and went back into the kitchen to rummage through some other cabinets I never see Hope open or use. And there we are...

A lovely red and grey squared blanket, perfect for our first date! 

I took out the blanket and gave it a small shake to get the dust out of it. I cannot believe she hasn't used this at all. I then took the blanket outside and gave it another shake before placing it down on the ground. There was a perfect view of the waterfall that we had a bath in, followed by a rainbow inside of the waterfall. Was there a cave in it or something? I didn't want to really find out right at the moment, I just wanted to have another nice time with Hope.

I placed my fingers against my chin, thinking of what else to do. Maybe some nice...no. She wouldn't drink that. I let out a small sigh before I began to think of something else. 

Nope. Cannot think of anything else to bring out here. 

Oh well, now it was time to wait for my true love, so I sat down on the blanket and stared at the beautiful waterfall down below.
