Chapter 19 - The Touch Of Love

My eyes fluttered open as some light seeping from the curtains came into the room, disturbing my sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened last night. I turned my head to look at Hope, who was not with me. What was she doing out there? 

I let out a long yawn before I sat up and moved my legs so that they would dangle off the edge. My eyes felt really sore, probably because they had bits of those 'sleepy crumbs' in the corners. No wonder why I feel like I want to fall asleep again. But, there wasn't any time to go back to sleep yet for some strange reason. I couldn't put my finger on it but something...forget it. I didn't know what I was thinking in my little head.

I finally got myself off the bed as I walked over to the bathroom to have a quick shower to start this weird day. I just could tell that it was going to be weird because Hope wasn't with me. I keep forgetting that we were...mates. I took off my night wear and got into the shower. I was expecting Hope to come into the room and join me, but she didn't. She was somewhere else and I didn't know where. 

I closed my eyes as I felt the water patter against my back, softening my muscles as they were felt quite tight from last night. What was inside of that metal water bottle? Was Morca really truly dead? Did...

"Calm down, baby girl." 

I gasped at hearing Hope's voice, making me slightly alarmed before I was beginning to look around the bathroom, I then realised that it was just her talking in my head. 

An hour later, I was just laid back against the couch in the living room. I basically had nothing to do, apart from making myself some food which I have done because my vampire girlfriend or 'mate', wasn't here. I shouldn't be so damn fucking lazy. I should just be happy that I got someone who really cares about me. But, I just felt confused and angry. Where was she? I needed answers! 

Then, I found myself walking out of the mansion. I was wearing a comfortable light blue jumper and some black leggings which were like trousers, but more thinner. I closed my eyes, before reopening them a second later to find myself right near the waterfall. How the hell did I get here so quickly? Unless I somehow teleported myself here which wasn't possible? I was just an human who doesn't quite understand stuff about the crazy supernatural!

"Hope? Why am I here?" I asked loudly, but there was no response. I looked up at the sky, trying to figure out what was happening. Well...the sky was getting slightly red, but how? It wasn't even near the end of the day! 

I let out a small sigh to myself, before I made my way over to a pile of rocks and climbed over them to try and get to underneath the waterfall without getting my clothes wet since I liked them quite a lot. I then pressed my back against the wall as I slowly side-stepped my way over to the circular arch and took a small deep breath. The water was so powerful that it was kind of rumbling the ground, like small earthquakes. 

I leaned against the stoned wall, until all of a sudden, it began to move itself. I moved out of the way quick enough for the wall to expose a beautiful crystal cave...was this Hope's second home? My mouth was slightly hung open in shock as I wondered inside of it, only for the wall to move itself back to cover the cave again. 

"Wow..." I said to myself, completely amazed at the sight of the colourful crystals. They were very close together, making the stones look like rainbows. I walked a little more further in, until I heard the sound of a wall moving again. I turned my head around to check the entrance which was still closed, then I turned my head to look forward again. 

I then jumped at the sight of my girlfriend standing right in front of me, making me scream a little too from fright. "I'm sorry, baby girl. I didn't mean to scare you." she told me in her lovely soft tone. Her eyes were a light purple, matching my necklace as it hummed against my neck.

"It's fine, babe. Why did you lure me in here?" I asked her, before her cold hands began to touch my waist, making my skin react with goosebumps. I then noticed that her body was fully exposed for me to see. 

"You are my mate." she replied before she lifted my jumper up, throwing it to the side. Her eyes then started to glow as she continued to undress me. "The blood moon is here, isn't it?" I asked her in a small nervous voice.

I then let out a small gasp as she picked me up bridal style, carrying me over to the rainbow bed. She placed me down onto it, making me feel twirls in my stomach as she leaned down and pressed her lips against mine in a slow, passionate, addicting kiss. 

I began to struggle underneath her as I was not ready to be turned yet. My body was becoming sweaty as the kiss continued, before she finally pulled away and looked down at me. "I want you to repeat after me."

I shook my head at her. 

"It is a very simple word, baby girl. Just say this word with me. Mate." 

I then found myself biting my bottom lip, making it bleed as I was biting it quite hard. This made my girlfriend's eyes turn crimson as she leaned down to slowly lick the blood.  "Say it with me, baby girl. Mate." she started to tell me, wanting me to say the word with her.

I arched my back as her fingers trailed down my side, before reaching down to my inner thigh...

"Mate." I then said the word. "Mate."

"Mate."

"Mate."

"Mate."

"You are mine forever..." 

"Yes, forever. Forever and ever..." I told my mate, finally accepting the reality. I pressed my forehead against hers as I felt her fingers play with me down there, making me moan out her name. 

The pleasure then became a bit more intense as she started to kiss me deeply and passionately, her dark crimson eyes locked onto mine. Her lips then moved down my jaw and to my neck, her fangs were saying hello as they bit into me, giving me some cold venom into my system...
