ANOTHER week had passed by quickly. Ever since Kylo Ren had shown Vada his true face, he had kept their training short. Though, he held true to his word and didn't wear the helmet. Vada was still getting used to seeing his actual face rather than looking at the menacing mask. She hadn't decided which one she liked better, yet.

Their training still lingered on combat, something Vada hoped would change soon. She knew how to fight, he knew that too, but for some reason he felt she wasn't ready to truly understand the Force, and the dark side.

The Supremacy had been fairly quiet, there were no major missions and Vada's duty as an Officer were easy to manage alongside training.

For the first time in weeks, she was able to get to the cafeteria early like she had before she went to Ilia. When she walked into the large room her eyes found Sei by the counter, a plate of food in hand. It had been long since the two women had seen each other. After Ilia, Vada hadn't had the time to eat breakfast in the cafeteria during the early hours, she usually only ate quickly later in the day.

"Well," Sei said, sitting down at a table. "Here I was thinking you got killed, or something."

Vada chuckled and grabbed a plate of her own before joining Sei. The mushy green food was anything but appealing. Unfortunately, it was all the cafeteria had to offer.

"I hope you didn't worry about me too much," Vada replied finally, after she sat down across from Sei. She noticed Sei had changed her hairstyle, her afro was now not up in a singular bun, but her hair was braided into two. Vada liked it, but it also reminded her of how long they hadn't spoken, how long it had been since she felt somewhat normal.

Sei grinned, "just a little." She took a bite out of the mush and groaned. "You'd think with all the power they have they'd hire a decent chef."

The Princess shrugged, "I don't really think that's their top priority."

Sei agreed. "So, where have you been?"

It crossed Vada's mind to tell Sei the truth immediately, but she wasn't sure Snoke wanted her to know what she was up to. And if she did tell Sei, she could be in serious danger. That was the last thing she wanted to cause.

"Oh um...work was very overbearing." She decided lying was the only possible option. "I've been ordered to search for planets that are possibly facilitating resistance members."

"I can't believe they're obsessing over those few Rebels as much as they are," Sei stated, "I mean, it was bound to happen. The First Order is basically trying to control the entire Galaxy so of course there's going to be people who disagree."
