| 16 | - Woodbury Assault

The mission to rescue Glenn and Maggie had commenced. With the help of the new lady, Michonne, you were going to sneak into Woodbury. Rick, Daryl, Oscar, and Clementine also joined you.

You all stopped on a road, and got out of the SUV.

Michonne: They have patrols. We're better off on foot.

Rick: How far? Night's coming.

Michonne: It's a mile, maybe two.

You started to grab your bags and rifle. You handed Clementine an assault rifle. The group then started heading to Woodbury on foot.

Rick turned to you, Clementine, and Daryl.

Rick: Look, for what you guys did for my baby while I was....you know....thank you. I mean it.

You: It's what we do.

Rick smiles, and continues on walking.

It was nighttime. You made it to the front gates of Woodbury as all of you hid behind a car. Rick surveyed the scene. Michonne started walking back and slipped away to do her own thing.

Rick: Hey! God damn it.

Clementine: We need to downsize.

Daryl: There's no way we're going to check all those buildings, not with all them guards there.

A branch snapped behind you, and everybody aimed their guns at the source. It was Michonne, who had came back to tell the group of a way in. You followed.

As the group looked through one building, you heard faint gunshots outside. Rick gave a nod as he led everybody out and sprinted across the street.

You entered an old building, and Rick waved for everybody to get into cover as he saw a soldier walk by.

???: On your feet, move!

You peek through a window and see soldiers moving two people with sacks on their heads. You figure it's Maggie and Glenn. They are about to leave the room, and Rick hands you a smoke grenade. You pull the pin, and throw it in. Daryl throws a flash grenade as well.

As they're disoriented, you all run in. Rick grabs Glenn as you and Oscar grab Maggie. You run out of the building as the soldiers begin to fire at you.

You continue to run down the street.

Rick: Inside, quick!

You all go inside a building, and hide. Michonne takes the time to slip away.

Maggie: Where's the girl?

Clementine: She was right behind us.

Daryl: Maybe she was caught. Should I go after her?

Rick: No, we need to get them to safety. She's on her own.

Glenn: Daryl, this was Merle. He did this.

You: Merle?

Rick: You saw him?

Glenn: Face to face. Threw a walker at me, he was gonna execute us.

Daryl: S-So my brother's this governor?

Maggie: No, it's somebody else. Your brother's his lieutenant or something.

Glenn: Rick, I'm sorry. We told him where the prison was, we couldn't hold out.

Rick: No need to apologize. We're gonna get you out of here.
