Catra and Adora arrived at the docks earlier then they were supposed to be. The harbour was bustling with life. People hauling fish, lumber and other produce. Ships coming into dock and ships just leaving. The docks led into a massive fish market that the fishers were selling. People constantly moving, buying, selling, chatting. Catra took a deep breath. "Hey, are we sure this is a good idea?" Adora looked confused. "What do you mean, you were excited about it this morning. What changed?" Catra rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Oh, I don't know maybe the fact I was abandoned as a kitten. Whoever left me there obviously didn't want me. What if we... run into them." Adora hadn't considered that till now. "Well, that was a long time ago and I will be with you the whole time." Adora gave Catra a hug and a kiss on her forehead. Catra didn't respond she had too much to think about. "Adora!" Sea Hawk was calling for Adora around forty feet away standing next to a medium-sized ship. The two walked over to the boat. "Hey Sea Hawk, is everything ready." "Nigh-on, thar are jus' five more barrels t' go on th' ship. 'n then we can start our adventure! OoooHHHH..." Catra quickly walked past Sea Hawk heading to the set of barrels behind him. "I'll go get the barrels." "Does she nah like shanties?" Adora walked up patting Sea Hawk on the shoulder. "I don't think so." Adora walked over to help Catra with the barrels.

"For the honour of Greyskull!" Adora walked over and casually picked up two barrels while Catra was struggling to lift one. "Psht, show off." Adora smiled turned around and walked up the ramp to the boat and placed the barrels down. Adora passed Catra walking up the ramp. Grabbing the last two Adora caught Catra checking her out in the corner of her eye. As Adora placed down the last of the barrels she lifted her hand up and scratched the corner of her mouth. "You might want to get that or you'll cause a slipping hazard." Catra turned a bright shade of red. "Hey, I wasn't..." "Yeah yeah, whatever you say." The two of them started laughing. Mermista who was sitting in the crows next jumped down and landed next to the couple. Both Adora and Catra jumped in fright. "Oh hey, Adora is everything on the ship?" Adora nodded. "I think so, me and..." Mermista cut her off and leaned of the side of the ship. "Sea Hawk lets go so we be in deep waters by sundown!" Sea Hawk gave her a thumbs up before untieing the ropes connecting the boat to the docks. Running up the ramp Sea Hawk shouted. "Hoist th' anchor!" Mermista started cranking a lever. A chain coiled round. After a few seconds the sound of the anchor being raised out of the water before taking its place on the side of the hull. Mermista and Sea Hawk rushed around hoisting sails and tieing ropes. Within half an hour they were off. Mermista was at the wheel while Sea Hawk talked to Catra and Adora. "Th' bunks are below deck, 'tis good weather fer th' next few days so we shouldn't 'ave any problems. If ye needs anythin' jus' as me or Mermista." Adora smiled. "Thank you, Sea Hawk, for doing this for us it means a lot." Catra slung the two bags that they brought over her shoulder and headed below deck. Sea Hawk watched her go then turned to Adora. "Be she ok?" To be honest Adora was thinking the same thing. "I'll go talk to her."

Adora walked to the stern walking through a set of double doors, down some steps and round to the bunks. There where two rooms one on either side of the ship each with a set of bunk beds. Catra was in the one on the right laying on the top bunk. Knock knock. Adora hit her knuckles on the door frame and stood in the doorway. "Hey, you doing ok." Catra rolled over onto her side facing the wall. Adora sighed and sat on the bottom bunk. "Is it about where we're going or..." Silence. "Catra... I know it can be hard sometimes. But you have so many people to help you. You just need to ask." Catra still didn't say anything. Adora sighed. "Im going to go up, If you want to talk, come find me." Adora stood up and left heading up to the main deck. Catra turned her head to check if Adora had left. She lay on her back, hands stretched up to the ceiling. Catra lay there for around an hour just thinking about everything that had happened before, where she was now and where she wanted to be. "Shit." Catra got up and headed up to find Adora. She opened the door to the main deck. It was an all-out battle. Adora gripped Sea-Hawks hand driving her elbow into a crate that they shared before shouting; "Three, two, one... go!" Their muscles flexed sweat dripped from their foreheads. Bam, Sea Hawks hand landed on the crate. Adora's hands shot up in the air of celebration. "Again." Sea Hawk was persistent and wanted to win. Catra looked up over her shoulder at the higher deck. Mermista was at the wheel. She glanced down at her before looking back ahead. Catra took a deep breath and headed up the ladder. Adore looked to her right and saw Catra and smiled. "Heyyy Mermista." Mermista turned and gave a three figured wave. Catra didn't know what to say, at least didn't know how to put her thoughts into words. "So... how does it work. Turning the ship I mean. We had ships in the Horde but they were all motorized." "Yeah, I remember." There was an awkward silence between the two of them for a few seconds. Mermista sighed. "The wheel is connected to the rudder behind the boat. The angle that the sail is placed relative to the direction of the wind. The Sail drives the boat forward and the rudder controls the direction." Catra was surprised that Mermista was talking to her. "That's... actually really cool." They both smiled before going back to silence. "Mermista I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I know that doesn't mean anything..." "It's ok." "What?" "It's ok, I forgive you. The Hord hurt a lot of people. Me, Adora, even you. As long as you want to be better then it's ok." Catra quickly responded. "Yes I am, I promise." Mermista laughed and then Catra. Adora smiled as she watched from the lower level.
