Chapter 6

The three of them Glimmer, Catra and Adora sat at the breakfast table moaning holding their heads. They were hungover. Bow gloated as he calmly sipped his juice. "this is why I don't drink." Catra quickly turned with her mouth full of toast, "shut it, arrow boy." "Catra play nice," Adora said not looking up concentrating on the pain. After a few minutes of eating and drinking, a lot of water Glimmer asked. "So where are you two going on your honeymoon?" Adora and Catra looked at each other then back at Glimmer. "Our what?" Glimmer was shocked. "You haven't planned it!" Catra replied in the same tone, "We don't know what IT is!" Bow sighed. "Adora I told you about this weeks ago." Adora defended herself. "I thought it was some kind of dessert." Glimmer laughed, "Well a honeymoon is a vacation that a couple take right after they are married. People usually go somewhere they haven't been to before." Catra sipped her drink, "I don't care, Adora, you pick." Bow put down his juice. "You should choose something that both of you want to do." Catra and Adora looked at each other, confused neither of them had ever thought about a full vacation before. Bow sighed, "Why don't we think about what you don't want to do." Catra immediately said, "Cold or wet is off the table!" "That's fair, I don't know me and Catra spent so much time in the Fright Zone that we actually don't know many places in Etheria." Bow thought for a minute, "Why don't you visit your home town." Bow didn't know much about Catra's life before the rebellion. Glimmer sank into her seat thinking it was an awkward topic. Though Catra replied calmly. "I arrived at the Hoard in a box as a kitten and Adora fell through a portal as a baby." Catra turned to Adora. "It would be nice to know where I came from we would try and find where Adora came from but we're taking a break from space for a long while." Glimmer and Bow were confused at how calm both of them were about this. Like it was normal for them. "Yeah, the only problem is we don't know where you're from," Adora said to Catra. Glimmer frowned, "You really know nothing about where your from do you." Catra shook her head. "Not a clue." Bow grabbed an apple from the centre of the table and put it in his pocket. "Your Felis. At least most of you is. There's only one race on Etheria that's cat-like." Catra looked up. "Huh, Felis? That's a dumb name." Adora leant forward. "Where's the nearest city?" Glimmer spoke. "They usually keep to themselves. Most of them live in the jungle cities in the east. Your the first Felisian I've seen since I was little. My parents went to secure a trading route." "What happened?" Adora said slightly concerned. "Nothing the trading route is still up we get a distribution of red-root every month in exchange for Etherian Iron. It's the wood that Bow's arrows are made from. The ship come's in every month unloads reloads and leaves." Adora thought for a moment. "I guess if we pack today we can ask Sea Hawk if he would take as tomorow. Stay for a month then come back in the morning." All three of the others were staring at Adora. "What." Glimmer spoke. "It's just you have never been this organized even in life and death sinarios you make plans at the last minute." After finishing breakfast Glimmer and Bow headed off to do royal duties while Catra and Adora went off to pack.

Adora walked through the door into their bedroom with Catra coming after. "If you stay here and pack I will go and find Sea Hawk Glimmer said him and Mermista went to go stay at a tavern in town." Catra hopped up and lied down oin the bed. "Why are you going. I don'twant to pack it's booooring." Adora smurked as she put some clothes from last night that were on the floor in a basket. "Are you forgetting how you almost destroyed Mermista's entire kingdome while trying to invade it." "Yeah I thnk you should go." Adora walked over kissed Catra on the forehead and walked to the door. "Were going to the jungle so pack something waterproof. I'll probably be gone for a while so if you want something to eat just go down to the kitchen and ask the cooks to make something. I love you, bye." Adora had left leaving Catra in the room on her own. Melog walked over from the corner of the room and jumped on the bed. Catra stroked him and looked up at the ceiling. "UUUUUHHHHH." Melog pawed at Adora's leg. "You want to go somewhere?" Melog stood up and stretched and looked down at Catra. Catra sprang up rolling out of bed. "I guess we can pack later." Catra turned around and both her and Melog walked out and shut the door behind them.
