Chapter 11

The elections came and went. Kenji didn't win. A person going by the name of Giannah won the election by a few votes. She seemed like a good candidate. Wanted to make helpful changes and had the knowledge to do so but most of all she cared.

It was breakfast time at the orphanage and Adora was serving the kids food. Catra sat at the table and fed Finn from his bottle. Catra loved the past few days taking care of Finn it felt almost natural to her which she found strange as she was never given any love as a kid. Catra was the person that Finn would let hold him. Except for Adora but that's if he wasn't sleepy, hungry or needed changing. While Catra was done feeding him she put Finn's bottle back on the table. "Ahh Ma." Catra turned to face Finn wide eyed. "What did you just say." Finn's bright blue eyes stared up at Catra's. "Ahh Ma Ahh Ma... Mama, Mama." Catra suddenly felt a feeling that she had never felt before and there was one thing that she could only think.

"There you go, don't eat it too quickly or you'll feel sick." The kid Adora just served was the last of them. She picked the pot off the burner and walked it over to the table and filled her Kenji's and Catra's bowls. "Adora I want a kitten." Adora wasn't paying attention filling bowls with porridge is a serious job. "Hmm, what was that?" Adora looked at Catra. "I want a kitten." Adora dropped the spoon. She didn't say anything and just stood there. "Sorry it was a stupid idea we just got married and it's too soon..." "OK." Catra looked up. "Wait what." "Yeah I mean I've loved looking after the kids here and it was going to happen eventually."

Catra was welling up. Adora walked over to hug her. "It's just a shame we can't take little Finn home. We would do it in a heartbeat." Adora said this while letting Finn grab her fingers and Finn giggled as Adora used a baby voice. "Why don't you?" Kenji shovelled porridge into his mouth. He had heard everything. Adora and Catra turned confused. "I mean you guys do know what an orphanage is right and no offence to you two but neither of you have let's say the right credentials to make a kitten." Kenji took another spoonful of porridge. "I mean Brightmoon is a better home for him than here. And plus Finn just called Catra Mama so you kind of have something to live up to." "Finn called you what?!"

The next day Kenji helped Adora and Catra learn everything there is to know about taking care of a kitten. How to change them what to feed them and what to do when they're sick. Adora wasn't too worried about that last one being She-ra and all. By the end of the day they were beat and were ready to go to sleep. Adora sat on the bed while Catra looked into the cot at Finn. "It's strange I don't feel any doubt in my mind about what we're doing." Adora laughed, "That's good we are about to have our first child together you should be pretty sure." Catra rolled her eyes, "I know it's just every time he smiles, laughs or even cries I want to be there giving him all the love that I wanted." Adora walked up and kissed Catra on the cheek. "Yeah I know what you mean. I just can't wait to see the look on Glimmer's face when we see them tomorrow. Catra face went a pale color for a moment, "Oh shi- I completely forgot about that.

The next morning Kenji spoke at breakfast. "So as many of you know this is Catra and Adora's last morning here with us. Guys I just wanted to say you have done so much in the short time you've been here I can't thank you enough. Ain't that right kids!" "YEAH!" Catra and Adora laughed. "So to thank you for everything that you have done we have gotten you a gift." Kenji waved two of the kids and they brought something with cloth over it. "This is for you to keep something of us with you. Always." Adora took off the cloth and they both looked at it and smiled from ear to ear. It was a photograph of all of them outside the front of the orphanage. Kenji, Adora and Catra with all the kids standing in front. Taped to the back were pieces of paper with messages from all the kids. Adora almost started crying but managed to hold it together. "Thank you all so much both of us have loved every minute of us being here. Although we are leaving that doesn't mean forever we will come back as soon as possible and visit you all again so thank you.

After some more individual goodbyes after breakfast. A guard came to the door. "Ms Catra, She-ra there is a man at the docks by the name of Seahawk." It was time to go. Catra put Finn into a basket that Kenji had given her wrapped up in a blanket. Adora slung both bags over her shoulder and they headed out.

"Are they going to be much longer." Mermista tapped the end of a piece of rope on the part of the dock it was attached to. "Ay, there be no much longer." Seahawk sat on the dock eating some fruit. Adora and Catra walked onto the dock. "Hey guys. Long time no see." Mermista stood up Seahawk following after walking up to give them both a hug. "What's in the basket are you bringing food back?" Catra stopped and put down the basket while Adora went in the hug them both. "This... well this is Finn. Mine and Adora's kitten." Mermista jaw was on the dock. While sea hawk immediately walked up and started playing with Finn. "Peak-a boo ahhhh Peak-a boo." Finn giggled at Sea Hawk while Mermista was still stunned. "We we we we left you here for a month. One month." Adora patted Mermista on the shoulder and sighed. "Trust me this is nothing."
"Ms Catra?" Catra turned and it was Giannah the new ruler. Catra handed Finn to Adora and went to talk to her. "Giannah is everything ok I wasn't expecting to see you here." "Well from me and the rest of the people wanted to give you a going away present. A group of villagers pulled a cart to the dock. When Catra saw what they had brought she was shocked. "Giannah I can't except this it's too much." Giannah shook her head. "It's not going to get any use if it's left here we want you to have it." The thing being pulled on the cart was in fact the Sapharalite Prism a large brown golden coloured crystal with brown streaks running through it. Catra smiled, "Thank you." Giannah nodded Catra turned to Sea Hawk who now had tones of questions. "Can you open the hull hatch." "Yeah but... what?!" "I'll tell you later it's a long story."

The Prism was craned and lowered into the ship and the five of them set sail back to bright moon.

"So your a princess?" Catra and Adora had been talking with Mermista and Seahawk for around three hours now about their trip and what had happened. "Sort of, I've got princess powers but I'm not technically a princess I don't feel like one." Mermista narrowed her eyes. "So what's your power?" "Well I did it on accident the first time I have no idea how to do it again. I can sorta turn into a big Jaguar there might be more but I have no idea how to find out." Mermista had an idea , "I can show you how I use my powers and that might help you..." Adora was holding Finn and he began to cry. "He probably needs changing I go and take care of him." Adora stood up and left to go bellow deck. Sea Hawk left the two girls and wondered after Adora.

"He's so cute." Adora turned to Sea Hawk who was standing in the doorway. Adora smiled and spoke softly picking up Finn after changing him. "Yeah... what about you and Mermista are you planning any like Sea Hawks anytime soon?" Sea Hawk laughed, "Maybe we're wanting to take it slow." Adora nodded. Sea Hawk walked over and let Finn grab one of his fingers with one hand. Suddenly a loud BANG came from above deck. The both of them rush up to see what had happened. Mermista lifted a large pillar of water from the ocean with a Catra in jaguar form inside. Dumping her on the deck. Catra coughing and spitting out ocean water. "What happened?!" Adora was worried. Catra transformed back into her normal form. "Oh nothing just that Catra wasn't prepared for how far she could jump." While Mermista laughed Sea Hawk went back bellow deck. Coming back with a towel handing it to Catra. Catra was pissed and shivering. "Maybe using my powers in the middle of the ocean might have not been the best idea." Adora burst out laughing causing Finn to laugh too. Catra smiled at them both thinking about how lucky she was.

"Emily run a diagnostic on this energy pattern." Entrapta was back at Dryl staring at monitors after Etheria was moved back into its home dimension Entrapta started sending signals into space. Running tests on Horde Prime's tech trying to learn more about this universe. Emily scattered over and fed a component into a circuit board transferring all of the data from the diagnostic to Entrapta's monitor. "Wow! This energy signature is nothing like the others. It's something new! Let's trace it back and see where it's coming from!" Entrapta had managed to retrieve a data cube from Horde Prime with every planet in the galaxy and information on its geography and its inhabitants or lack there off. "Loadiiiiinnnngggg! Now! Oh wow well that's... interesting."
