After a short walk from Brightmoon through the whispering woods to the cabin Glimmer, Bow, Catra and Adora stopped at the last corner before you could see the house. Perfuma and Scorpia tagged along to say hi to Adora and Catra but also because Perfuma had helped with some of the decorations and the surrounding garden. Fin was sleeping on Adora's shoulder, it had been a big day of meeting new people for him. Glimmer turned to face Catra and Adora and spoke, "So the reason we brought you out here. We want to give you your wedding present." Catra smiled although she knew what the present was it doesn't mean that she's any less excited. "It's just around the corner." Adora was confused, 'why would we walk all the way out here for a present. 'How big is it?!'. The seven of them walked around the corner as the present was revealed.

The path ran up to the front door of a beautiful wooden cabin. The trees around cradled the porch just letting in enough light through the canopy to bounce off the windows almost making them sparkle. The Cabin bordered on a lake whose dock protruded out a few meters or so just shy of the water's skin. The waters still silence only interrupted by a fallen berry creating ripples that lapped the banks. A cobblestone path ran from the dock to the side door which fed into the kitchen. The cabin itself formed and 'L' shape with horizontal planks for walls and a stone trim running around the house for support. The wood was painted with a waterproof coat giving it a slightly darker colour from the wood's original. A slopped granite slate roof jutted out from the building forming a small amount of shade around the cabin at noon. A stack of firewood sat in the shade on one side of the house. Windows with copper latches let in light to all part of the building. A porch on the waterside of the cabin stood strong with two chairs and a small table perfect for watching the sunset hit the water. A whispering wood native tree similar to a cherry blossom hung over the house showering some of the roof and the front door with bright pink petals and dark red berries. And to finish it off a chimney of black stones protruded from the top of the roof a thin stream of smoke wafting from it.

Catra stood there dumbfounded, she knew about the gift but she didn't think it would have been anything like this, she started to tear up. Adora on the other hand still had no idea what was going on. "That's a nice house, is the present inside?" Glimmer and Bow smiled. Glimmer turned to Adora. "Adora that is the present. We're giving you a house." At this point, Finn had woken up and was reaching for Bow. "Aha Bow can you take Finn I need to sit down." Adora handed him off and sat on a stump that was next to her. "So that is ours, all of it." Finn started to grab at bows dreads similar to his father's that he'd been growing for a while now. Bow winced as Finn pulled, "Finn not so hard." Perfuma giggled and raised a hand to let Finn grab her finger, "do you guys want to go inside." Catra lit up. "Absolutely."

The front door was made from a sombre wood with red tones in the grain the door handle was black metal. Inside after the front door was the living room. The entire interior was made from the same wood as the front door except for the roof beams which were a dark grey. The living room made up a third of the ground floor. A large couch swept the living in an L shape having the same colour as the roof beams. An armchair made from that of the sofa sat facing into a coffee table made from milled raw planks. Blanket and pillows of similar checkered material lay on the couch waiting to be used. Lamps on corresponding side tables stood on either end of the couch glowing with light. All the furniture rested on a large woven carpet. Thin but soft to the touch. A cobblestone hearth made from three types of stone shot up from the floor to the ceiling. A wooden mantle filled with pictures of Catra, Adora, Glimmer, Bow, Perfuma, Scorpia, Entrapta, Mermista, Seahawk and other. As the day turned to dusk the sun came in through the windows behind the couch and reflected off the picture frames. This section of the house was open plan meaning you could see the whole of the kitchen from the living room. The kitchen was a couple of inches lower than the living feeding in through a step-down. Slate flooring. Wooden cabinets. Black stove and oven. And a draw for a freezing and cooling unit. The kitchen had a giant window facing the lake with a door to the left of it running down to the dock.

"This is amazing, this kitchen, this stove." Glimmer laughed, "You don't even know how to cook." "Yeah but I'm gonna, trust me in a month your gonna have to say goodbye to your head chef cause I'm just gonna be too good." The two of them and Peerfuma started laughing. Catra ran her hand across the mantle looking at all the faces staring back at hers and she couldn't help but think how much they have all gone through to get here. Scorpia stood behind her looking for a reaction. Catra smiled as she saw a picture of her Scorpia and Entrapta in the Horde. "I found this on one of Entrapta's hard drives, well she found it. I still don't understand how it fits into that tiny little box." Catra laughed, "It's a good picture." She sighed. "Whatcha thinking about Wildcat?" "Nothing, just how in the picture you can see one of Entrapta's bot setting fire to your pant leg." Adora looked over and saw the two of them laughing. It was comforting seeing Catra like the house.  Bow called out from a door off from the kitchen. "So this room was supposed to be a guest bedroom but I guess when Finn's old enough he can use it." Finn turned and looked at Adora, "Aha mama." Bow handed Finn over to Adora and the group moved on to look at the rest of the house.

The spare room had a wooden queen-sized bed with white linens and a red white and black blanket at the foot. A wooden wardrobe and dresser stood opposite the bed. A staircase coming from the living room led straight into the master bedroom. A king-sized bed with the same sheets and blanket and another larger set of wardrobe and dresser. The views from the window were amazing looking out into the lake. A second fireplace connecting to the same chimny faced the bed. An En suite bathroom with 'Hers and Hers' sinks, complete with a large bathtub and shower. A second bathroom sat downstairs with a single sink and a slightly smaller shower. On the mantle in Catra and Adora's new bedroom a single picture. It was the two of them, on their wedding day beaming smiles the both of them. This showed that this house was theirs that this home was theirs.

Perfuma and Scorpia had left and Finn was put to bed in a cot that was brought over. Bow, Glimmer, Catra and Adora to sit on the dock. It was dark now and the fireflies had started to come out. The four of them just sat there looking out at the water taking in the night air. Adora turned to Glimmer and Bow. "Thank you." They both smiled and nodded. Adora turned back to Catra with her arm around her she gave a slight squeeze. "So... what now?" Catra watched as a firefly flew down and rested on one of the posts holding up the dock. "Now we live our lives the way we want to live them.
