Prologue

"I like you..." Napatingin ako sa kaniya, nagninigning ang mga mata. Natigil ako nang bigla siyang napangisi. "...is what you want me to say, right?"

I fell for him. I don't know why... I just did.

"You think this is for you? Cut the crap. I'm not giving you any," walang emosyon niyang sabi.

He said I belong to him, in some ways.

Inakbayan niya ako saka binigyan ng matalas na tingin ang lalaki. "Sorry, bro. This girl belongs to me."

I don't know if he really cares for me or not. I can't understand him, obviously.

"Go on. He's better than me, you say? We're strangers from now on."

But, as time goes by, my feelings for him gets deeper. It's really hard falling for a guy who is never honest with his feelings.

It's such a pain falling for a guy whose pride is higher than the sky.

But, when in love, it feels so right. Even when I'm hurting, just a glimpse of his smile, it fades.

Falling in love is such a stupid thing to do. But, I just can't help it.

I wonder, when will he care for me as much as I care for him?
