"Oh? Ba't nakasimangot ang Mariana Emily? Anong nangyari?" Ani Ate Sabel habang naglilinis ng kusina.

Kumuha ako ng baso at uminom ng malamig na tubig. Kailangan kong magpalamig dahil nag-iinit ako sa galit dahil sa manyak na 'yon. Bwisit talaga!

"Wala!" Umirap ako at iniwan si Ate Sabel sa kusina.

Papaakyat na ako sa hagdan ng pumasok si Manang Seda, umirap ulit ako at dumirecho na lang sa aking kwarto.

Naligo ako at ginamot ang sugat sa paa. Hindi na gaanong masakit pero namumula pa rin.

Humiga ako sa kama at nag check ng social media accounts ko. I saw Naomi and V's texts.

Naomi:

Hey! We'll go to Palawan this Saturday. G ka ba? V's coming too! Alam mo naman 'yon.

Veronica:

Mariana, pack your things! We'll go to Palawan. It's an order. No, no!

How I would love to go with them but I promised Dad that I will stay here in the island this summer.

Samal Island may be a small island but there's something here that can made me relax compared to the big tourists spots in the country or maybe because it's my mom's happy place? I don't know.

I texted them that I can't come and it's Dad's order. They flooded me with texts and calls. I turned off my phone at baka mabudol pa ako na sumama.

I decided to sleep that morning to lessen the stress that I've feeling towards that pervert. Hindi ko na nga lang 'yon iisipin at baka hindi ko pa ma enjoy ang summer ko dito.

I woke up around 1pm and bumaba ako at dumirecho ng kusina para kumain. Hindi pa pala ako kumakain ng lunch.

Nakita ko si Daddy sa sala habang busy sa harap ng laptop niya. I walked towards him and kissed his cheek before heading to the kitchen.

"Have you eaten your lunch, Dad?" Sigaw ko galing sa kusina habang nag sasandok ng kanin sa 'king pinggan.

"I'm done. Just eat already." Ani Dad habang nagsisimula na akong kumain.

I put my plates on the sink after eating. I didn't bother to wash my plates at baka mabasag ko na naman. Malalagot na naman ako kay Manang Seda.

Dumirecho na lang ako sa sala at tumabi kay Dad at yumakap. I missed my Mommy.

"Are you okay?" Dad asked and I just nodded.

"Yeah. I just missed Mom." Kumalas ako sa yakap at bumuntong hininga.

"I missed her too, anak." Daddy looked at me with a smile but with a sad eyes. He's still mourning but compared to the last years, he's becoming better.

"Do you want to visit other beach fronts? Para hindi ka naman malungkot dito. You can use your yacht for the beach hopping, anak. Your Manang Seda and Ate Sabel can come or you can call your friends to come too." Ani Dad sabay halik sa noo ko. I smiled at him and nodded.

"Can I?" I jumped out of excitement and hugged him.

"Yes. I'll just call Robert to checked the yacht and ready them. You want it ngayon or bukas na? Maaga pa naman." Ani Dad sabay sulyap sa kanyang relo at kinuha ang cellphone para tawagan si Kuya Robert.
