Blood
I felt my face turned red so I looked away and excused myself and went straight to his bathroom.
He chuckled when I was about to open the door so I just rolled my eyes.
"Bilisan mong kumain dyan! Madami pa tayong pag-uusapan." I shouted as I closed the door.
I was smiling like an idiot. Parang hindi nagluksa for a week, ha? Oo na, ako na ang marupok. Tss!
I roamed my eyes on his huge bathroom. It was full of men's stuff like shave cream, shower gel, shampoo, mouthwash and other men stuffs. I can smell his scent all over the place, it lingered on my nose.
I washed my hands and was about to go out when I saw his trash bin with a lot of tissue. When I say A LOT, I meant it.
Did he get sick these past few days? I furrowed my brows and went out.
He was still eating and smiling while chewing his food. He looked at me with a wide smile.
"Nagkasakit ka ba?" I asked curiously.
"No. Why?" Aniya habang nginunguya ang kanyang pagkain.
"Did you get colds or coughs?"
Bakit?" He said casually and drank his water.
"Bakit ang daming tissue sa bathroom mo?" Nakakunot noong tanong ko.
He choked on his water. Naibuga niya ang tubig sa kanyang bibig. His eyes widened and coughed so hard.
"A-ahh... yes. I have coughs kahapon pero medyo w-wala na naman ngayon." He said as he coughed so hard again.
"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly and stood up to rub his back.
He just nodded and finished his food silently without looking at me. It was too big for a bachelor like him. Oh well, he's the son of the famous Arthuro Fuego, what more could I say?
It was a black and white themed room with different geometric shapes furnitures around, it really suits for a young bachelor like him.
He went to his bathroom so I sat on his sofa and waited for him. I'm now ready and all ears for everything.
We were silent for a while until he started to open about the issue.
"Did Mama talked to you about it?" Panimula niya. I just nodded and stared at him. He sighed deeply as he held my hands before talking.
"It wasn't true. Yes, we were together before but I never proposed to her. We broke up but then we're cool about it. The next morning since that news broke out, kinausap ko si Hazel." He explained while looking at my eyes intently na para bang hinahagilap niya ang reaksyon ko.
I just nodded and smiled to let him continue.
"She also didn't know about it so I settled it on my own. Pinaimbestigahan ko ang may gawa 'non, even the media and entertainments behind it, we looked every details. Kaninang umaga lang namin nalaman kung sino ang nag bayad ng malaking halaga sa media para isawalat and hindi naman totoong impormasyon." I can sense anger in his tone so I held his hands tightly to calm him.
