Leave

I looked around at the interior of their mansion, just like the exterior, the inside also speaks the classical Spanish-inspired details. From its carpeted floor, to their grand staircase with sculpted different figures on its bannister, the old yet classical paintings and even the furnitures are Spanish inspired.

I am still in awe as I roamed my eyes around. Our mansion is as big as this but theirs felt like surreal, I am so amazed!

"I love your mansion," sabi ko at namamangha pa rin.

My Dad just maintained its intricate details and Spanish styles to preserved the memories of our family," sabi niya habang iginigiya ako palabas sa likod ng kanilang mansion.

I saw Tito Arthuro smiling as we slowly went to the long table in their big garden. A beautiful and elegant woman beside him smiled widely as she stood up and went to Rad to give him a kiss on his cheeks, I think it's his mom.

She went to me and hugged me. I suddenly remember my Mom.

"Good afternoon po, Tito... Ma'am..." I formally said as I slowly sat down on the chair in front of Rad's mom. Rad is beside me while he's holding my hand below the table.

"Ma, Pa... this is my girlfriend, Mariana Emily. Baby, these are my parents." I blushed when he suddenly utter our endearment in front of his parents. This man, really!

Tito Arthuro is just smiling while looking at his son, like they are communicating through their stares. Napansin ko ring nagmana si Rad sa kanyang ama, only his lips was from his mom.

"You're too formal, hija. Just call me Tita Diana. Rad's been telling us so much about you since you were young-" Rad cut her off.

"Ma!"

Your mom is just way too excited to finally meet Marem." Tito Arthuro chuckled and looked at me, still smiling.

"Yes, anak. I'm sorry." Tito Arthuro held her hands.

"Anyway, how are you hija? How's your Dad?" Tito asked casually, and it somehow calmed down my nervousness.

"I'm good, Tito. And Dad's been busy because of the company, he's in Tagaytay right now, actually."

I felt relieved. I really thought that Rad's mom won't like me, but I guess I was wrong. The way she speaks, it was so elegant and pure.

"Oh, so mag isa ka ngayon sa rest house niyo?" Tita Diana asked as she called their house helps to serve the desserts since it's almost two in the afternoon already.

Rad is just holding my hands while playing it underneath the table. Hinayaan ko na lang siya.

"Yes, Tita. My friends were with me last week but they already left since may mga errands and emergency po." I said while sipping on my glass of orange juice.
