Chapter 15

Five days later (August 1st)

Nicole woke up to Aunt May knocking on Peter's bedroom door. "You have a visor, Nicole." May smiled

"Alright, I'll be right out." Nicole yawned and got up, carful not to wake Peter up. He looked peaceful.

Nicole came out into the living room and noticed the visor was her brother and she ran to him and hugged him. "Hey, bubby." Nicole grinned.

"Hey, you." Daryl chuckled. "I came to get you and bring you to Carl's place everyone else is waiting." Daryl told his sister.

"Who's "everyone else" ?" Nicole wondered.

"Well go wake up Peter and you'll find out." Daryl laughed.

Nicole looked at her brother, confused then went back to Peter's room and patted his back, "Time to wake up, baby." Peter yawned and sat up in his bed and pulled Nicole towards him and she sat down with him.

"Good morning, beautiful." Peter kissed Nicole. Peter placed his hand on Nicole's stomach, "Good morning little one." he smiled.

Nicole blushed. "My brother is out there waiting on us." Nicole said and got up and grabbed Peter's hands and pulled him up.

Nicole and Peter came into the living room and Nicole, Peter, and Daryl got in Daryl's car and Daryl drove to Megan's house and they all got out and Daryl knocked on the door and Carl answered it. "Everyone is in the living room." Carl smiled. Peter, Nicole, and Daryl came inside.

"Oh my gosh everyone is here!" Nicole was happy to see everyone.

"Hey, I heard the good news." Rick smiled and hugged Nicole.

"Thank you." Nicole smiled.

Daryl saw that was Carol was there and immediately dropped everything and ran over and hugged her. "You didn't tell me you were going."

"Surprise!" Carol laughed.

Daryl hugged Michonne and Judith too. "Hey, there." Daryl smiled at Judith.

"Hey, Uncle Daryl. Judith grinned. "I'm so ready to see my big brother graduate!" Judith clapped.

Carl came over to his little sister and hugged her. "I bet you are."

"Carl, it's time to go." Rick told his son.

"Alright dad." Carl looked at Rick.

Carl got in the car with Rick, Michonne, Megan and Judith and they headed towards the school. Peter, Nicole, Carol, and Daryl got in Daryl's car and Daryl followed Rick's car to the school. Everyone got out of the cars and headed to the stadium while Carl, Nicole, Peter, and Megan walked together to the gym to get ready for their graduation.

"Did you tell your dad yet?" Nicole asked, looking at Carl as she put on her cap and gown.

"Not yet. I'm saving that for the end." Carl said and put his cap and gown on.

Everyone else finished getting ready then it was time to walk out onto the field. The class of 2020 sat in their set and waited for everything to begin. There were a few long speeches then everything was turned over to the principal, T'Challa to call everyone up to receive their diplomas. An hour went by and T'Challa finally got to the end of the list.

"Peter Parker is graduating with high honors." T'Challa clapped and handed Peter his diploma as he walked onto the stage. Peter walked off and sat back down in his seat.

"Carl Grimes is graduating with honors." T'Challa smiled and handed Carl his diploma as he walked onto the stage. Carl walked off the stage and sat back down.

"Megan Underwood. Honors." T'Challa clapped and handed Megan her diploma then she walked back to her seat.

"Nicole Dixon. High honors." T'Challa said as he handed Nicole her diploma and she sat back in her seat.

Everyone in the stands clapped for all the graduates and music started playing. "We did it." Nicole hugged Peter then hugged Carl and Megan.

"Yes, we did." Peter grinned.

Rick came up and hugged his son, "I'm so proud of you, Carl."

"Thanks, Dad." Carl smiled. Carl put his arm around Megan's waist, "Dad, this is my girlfriend, Megan." Carl grinned.

"Well, hello there." Rick smiled. "You've got yourself a pretty girl there, son."

"Thanks, Dad." Carl smiled. "I have something else to tell you also." Carl bit his lip. Carl felt his palms go sweaty.

"What's that?" Rick wondered.

"I'm going to be a father." Carl smiled.

Rick almost broke down crying and brought Carl into a tight hug. "Carl, that's wonderful you know I've always wanted a grandchild."

"I know, Dad and now you'll have one. Carl grinned.

"Make that two." Nicole told Rick and put her had on her stomach."

"Aw that's great news." Rick gently hugged Nicole. "And who's the father?" Rick wondered.

"I am." Peter beamed.

"How sweet." Rick smiled.

"How far along are you?" Rick wondered as he looked at Nicole.

"Two weeks and five days." Nicole smiled. "I'm already ready to met my baby." Nicole blushed.

"So am I." Peter wrapped his arm around Nicole's waist.

Carl came over to Rick, "Dad do you want to get a picture?"

"Sure." Rick smiled.

"Carol, could you take our picture?" Carl asked.

"Yes." Carol nodded and took Carl and Rick's picture.

Everyone left the school and met back at Megan's for dinner. Everyone ate dinner and Carol baked cookies. Carl and Rick were talking in the living room. "I've got something for you, Carl." Rick said.

"Oh, yeah? What's that?" Carl looked at his dad.

"I brought this for you. You left it." Rick said and handed Carl is hat.

"I knew I left it somewhere." Carl put his hat on. "Thanks, dad." Carl smiled.

"You're welcome, son." Rick smiled and hugged Carl.

Everyone spent a few more hours spending time together then Rick, Judith, Michonne, and Carol left and Daryl took Nicole and Peter back to Peter's apartment and Nicole hugged her brother bye and Peter and Nicole came inside and came to Peter's room.

"I'm happy we finally graduated." Nicole smiled and hugged Peter.

"Me too, darling." Peter kissed Nicole. "I can't get over the fact I'm going to be a father." Peter grinned.

Awee I know." Nicole smiled and clung onto Peter's arm, blushing as she felt his muscles.

Nicole let go of Peter's arm and stretched and yawned. "I'm tired, Peter."

"Aww let's go to bed then." Peter said and got in the bed and patted the area next to him, "Come on, baby."

Nicole climbed in the bed with Peter and curled up to him and Peter threw the cover over them both. "Good night, darling." Peter whispered and kissed Nicole on the forehead.

"Goodnight." Nicole smiled and drifted ofc to sleep.

Peter went to sleep after that thinking of his child all night.
