Chapter 4

One week later

The 6AM alarm went off scaring Nicole awake, "AAHH! I'm up shut up!" She groaned. Nicole trudged downstairs to make sure her big brother was awake. "Bubby wake up!" Nicole demanded and turned on his light.

"I'm up. I'm up." Daryl groaned.

Nicole took a quick shower then threw on a cute pair of shorts and her new spiderman shirt and put her hair into a cute bun then threw on her socks and shoes. "I'm ready I guess." Nicole rolled her eyes as she grabbed her book bag.

"Okay let's go then." Daryl told his sister.

Daryl drove his sister to Starbucks to get her a coffee then dropped her off at Midtown High School.

Nicole: where are you? I'm terrified!!

Carl: turn around. 😉

Nicole turned around, "There you are!" Nicole sighed with some relief and hugged Carl.

"Aww it's okay." He whispered into her shoulder.

Megan came up behind Carl and hugged him then he turned around and kissed her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Nicole backed up to give them a bit of space and bumped into someone. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" Nicole apologized immediately. Nicole turned around to see a cute boy standing in front of her.

"No, it's okay I was in your way." The boy told Nicole.

Nicole blushed when she got a good look at him he was the cutest boy she's ever seen.

"Wow you're so- hello there I'm Peter Parker." Peter blushed.

"Hey Peter, my name is Nicole Dixon I'm new here." Nicole told Peter shyly.

"Well sounds like you need a friend here." Peter blushed.

"I-" Nicole started but Carl cut off.

"Is he bothering you Nicole?" Carl questioned, eyeing Peter.

"No of course not." Nicole rolled her eyes.

"I was only apologizing for bumping into her." Peter held his hands up

"Oh sorry man I'm just a pretty protective best friend." Carl apologized.

"It's all good." Peter said.

The bell rung to go to first period. Peter walked with Nicole. "Let's see your schedule." He beamed.

Nicole handed Peter her schedule.

"Oooo looks like you're with me first period, good you can sit with me." Peter said excitedly.

Nicole followed Peter to chemistry and sat next to him at a lab table.

"Do loosen up darling you're alright as long as I'm around nothing will happen to you." Peter promised.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry." Nicole blushed.

"You're cute when you blush. You know that?" Peter flirted.

Nicole turned bright red and hid her face in Peter's shoulder.

The teacher went over everything they needed to know rather quickly so while Nicole was distracted Peter whipped up his web fluid. There was fifteen minutes of free time so Nicole and Peter talked.

"Care to come by my place after school for dinner?" Peter asked biting his lip.

"I'd love to." Nicole smiled.

"Good. Aunt May will enjoy the company." Peter beamed.

The bell rung and Nicole and Peter went their separate ways to their next class. The day went by pretty fast it was already lunch time. Nicole stepped foot into the lunch room and felt so uneasy around all the people.

"Over here!" Peter called out to Nicole from the table he was sitting at.

Nicole came over to his table.

"Ooo who's this?" Peter's friend wondered.

"My friend, Nicole, Ned." Peter grinned.

"Really? Because seems like you really like her." Ned joked.

"Well, she's pretty." Peter said.

"Yeah. Pretty hot!" Ned said, checking Nicole out.

Nicole made a face at Ned.

Peter sighed. "She's not a cup of tea Ned she's a girl. We call girls pretty or in her case beautiful." Peter corrected Ned.

Ned laughed, "Okay man."

Nicole blushed. She liked how respectful Peter was.

Lunch ended and the rest of the day went by pretty fast. Nicole met up with Peter outside. "See you at my place." He said as he hugged her and got on the bus. Nicole got into her brother's car and he drove her home.

"So who's the dude?" Daryl questioned.

Nicole blushed, "That was Peter and he invited me to dinner." Nicole explained.

"I'll drop you off but I hope he can bring you back." Darl sighed.

"Of course." Nicole promised.

Daryl drove Nicole to Peter's house and dropped her off. Nicole knocked on the door and Aunt May answered the door. "Oh he was right you are beautiful." She complimented.

"Thank you." Nicole blushed.

"His room is just to the left. He's not here right now but I'm sure he'll be happy to see you when he gets back." May said.

"Thank you for having me." Nicole smiled.

"Of course!" Aunt May beamed.

Nicole came into Peter's room and sat down on his bed. She looked around his room, it was nice. Peter dropped onto the balcony as spiderman and eased the window open not knowing Nicole was already in his room. He stuck himself to the ceiling and crawled to the center, and dropped down. He noticed Nicole was sitting there and almost freaked out, quickly pressing the release button on his Stark suit.

"You didn't see that!" Peter waved his hands in front of him.

"My lips are sealed." Nicole promised.

"Thank you." Peter was relieved. "Mr um- nevermind you're not ready for that." He laughed.

Peter got dressed from being in the Stark suit and walked with Nicole into the kitchen to sit down for dinner and everyone ate, May cooked meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans.

"Dinner was good, thank you." Nicole smiled.

"Anytime dear." Aunt May smiled back.

Peter hugged Nicole bye then Aunt May took her back home. Nicole went straight up to her room and went straight to sleep she was so exhausted from today.
