Chapter 17

One week later

Nicole was sitting at the kitchen table eating ice cream while scrolling through Zillow. She gasped as she found what looked like the perfect house. "Peter, come here." Nicole called.

Peter came over to Nicole, "Yeah?" he went behind her and put his hands on her shoulders and gently massaged them.

"Mmm that feels good but I think I found a house." Nicole held her phone up so Peter could see.

"Ooo I like that one." Peter nodded.

"Should I call and get a view of the house?" Nicole looked up at Peter.

"Yes." Peter nodded before going to talk to his aunt.

Nicole made the call and booked a viewing of the house she picked out. "Yes ma'am, thank you see you soon. You have a good day too." Nicole hung up and came over to Peter and hugged him from behind.

"Hey there, darling." Peter turned around and kissed Nicole.

"I'm proud of you both for doing what's right." Aunt May smiled.

Peter hugged his aunt. "Thanks, Aunt May."

Peter and Nicole came back to Peter's room and started being ready to met the lady to look at the house. "Should I ask Mr. Stark to come?" Peter asked as he put a clean shirt on.

Nicole shrugged and grabbed the car keys and came out into the living room ready to walk out the door but Peter caught her by the arm. "Baby?" Peter bit his lip.

Nicole snapped out of it. "Huh?" Nicole looked confused.

"I.. I asked you a question." Peter looked at Nicole.

"I'm sorry I was in my own little world." Nicole bit her lip. Nicole continued to the car and she and Peter got in. "What was your question?" Nicole wondered.

"I asked if Mr. Stark should come along." Peter said.

"Maybe he could met us there." Nicole said as she parked in the driveway of the house they were about to view.

"Sure.." Peter looked half worried. Peter called Tony and asked him to met them at the new place and Tony was there in about ten minutes.

"What a nice house." Tony admired the outside of the house.

"Yes it is." Nicole agreed.

The home seller showed up five minutes later and met everyone by the front door. "Ready to see the house?" she grinned.

"Yes." Nicole got excited.

The lady unlocked the house and everyone stepped in. "Very nice." Peter smiled. "Our baby will like it here."

"Awe you're expecting?" the lady asked.

"Yes." Nicole smiled.

"You didn't tell me that." Tony was shocked.

"I'm sorry Mr. Stark I've been so busy taking care of-" Peter started talking fast.

"Whoa it's okay, kid." Tony laughed. "I'm happy for you guys." Tony smiled. "Looks like Papa Stark is buying a house for his grandchild." Tony blurted out and handed the lady a suitcase which contained $3 million which was enough for the house and to keep it completely furnished with top quality appliances.

"Wow how can I ever repay you??" Peter couldn't believe the generous thing Tony just did.

"Just make sure I'm the first to meet the baby aside from the parents of course." Tony patted Peter's back and walked out the door.

Peter ran after Tony before he could get into his car and hugged him real tight. "Thank you so much." Peter tried not to cry. "I promise you'll be the first to meet the baby aside from us." Peter backed up and smiled.

"You're a good kid." Tony smiled and drove off.

The sales lady handed the keys to the house to Peter and put the SOLD in the yard and left. Peter put the keys on his keychain next to his car keys.

Nicole hugged Peter. "We have a house to start a family in." she cried a little.

"Yes we do, darling." Peter kissed Nicole and they got in the car and drove back to May's.

"Sooo how'd it go?" Aunt May prepared herself.

"We got the house!" Peter hugged his aunt excitedly.

"Yay!" Aunt May clapped excitedly and hugged Peter and Nicole both.

Peter and Nicole came to Peter's room and and they sat on Peter's bed. Nicole put her hand on her stomach, smiled, and started singing.

Peter looked at Nicole in awe while he waited for Nicole to finish singing that beautiful song. "You never told me you could sing." Peter hugged Nicole.

Nicole blushed. "I was singing for the baby I thought she'd like it." Nicole laid her head on Peter's shoulder.

"We don't know if the baby is girl." Peter glanced down at Nicole's stomach and rubbed it.

"I know. I just really want a girl." Nicole smiled and kissed Peter then laid back and got comfortable in the bed.

Peter curled up next to Nicole and covered them both up with the blanket.

"I already thought of a name if the baby is a girl." Nicole said, trying to keep her eyes open.

"Oh yeah?" What did you pick out?" Peter asked and looked Nicole and noticed she was fast asleep. Peter smiled and ran his fingers through Nicole's long black hair for a while.

"Good night, darling." Peter whispered and gently kissed Nicole on her forehead. "Good night, baby." Peter whispered and gently placed a kiss on Nicole's stomach then he got comfortable and went to sleep and started dreaming of holding his baby. The though of that made him smile.
