Code Corrosion - A Hermitcraft/MCSM/Evo Crossover

Before We Begin

Welcome to the only MCSM/Hermitcraft crossover that I'm aware of. (If you know about any others, please let me know. I'd love to read them). You don't necessarily need to have played or watched MCSM or Hermitcraft to understand the story. 

 Here's some headcanons about the hermits that you might wanna know, though:

Xisuma: Admin of the server, always wears a helmet. He likes to switch his helmet out for ones that look like newly discovered mobs, such as the bee or the strider. 

Grian: Is the only hermit with actual wings instead of an elytra, but only because the author (me) is obsessed with Winged!Grian au's (such as Fight or Flight or Featherweight). He did once live in Evo and he did become a watcher, but it was only temporary and he lost his Watcher powers when he moved to Hermitcraft. He misses his friends, but his backstory isn't as dramatic or traumatic. 

Doc: Isn't exactly a creeper hybrid, but his green skin reminds everyone of them. Don't question the green skin. Just go with it. Also, he's a cyborg. His robotic eye functions as a communicator (Can't wait to see how the Order of the Stone is gonna react to him)

Iskall: His robotic eye, like Doc's, also functions as a communicator. He's the king of burning diorite and no one can stop him. 

ZombieCleo: She's kinda in-between human and zombie. Basically a sentient zombie that does not burn in daylight, but her hair looks fiery enough. 

Jevin: Same situation as Cleo. Stuck in between a human and a blue slime. Just imagine a human with slightly translucent blue skin.

Cub: Has no real Vex powers, but claims he's their ally. 

VintageBeef: He's the only one who's heard about the Order of the Stone. He found a book once that mentioned them or something. 

Ren: Is a wolf hybrid. Has a wolf's tail and ears. 

Bigbst4tz: He's not a hermit, but he's important to the story. I'll probably just explain it all throughout the book. All you need to know (in case you haven't played Minecraft Story Mode before) is that he makes an appearance in Season 2, Episode 3. He works as an "associate" in the Sunshine Institute, teaching Jesse how to smuggle cookies. And in case you don't know, he was also in Minecraft Evolution with Grian. I'm interested in seeing your theories about his role in the story if you think you can figure it out.

These aren't the only hermits that appear in the story. I'll try my best to fit all of them.

Other things you need to know about Hermitcraft in this story:

- it takes place in season seven

- respawning is a thing, but it's pretty painful. Still, death traps are common

- everyone has their own communicators, with some exceptions like Iskall and Doc since they have their magic eyes instead.

- characters (not alter egos) like EX and Helsknight are in the server but usually keep to themselves. EX has mostly changed to the side of good (though he still prefers to be called Evil Xisuma). Helsknight, being more recent, is still completely evil. I don't really know if I want to include him in the story. 

- I won't be shipping anyone.

Aaaaaaaaand moving on to the Minecraft Story Mode half of the story. If you know MCSM, you could probably just skip this part. 

Jesse the Leader: I'll be using the female with black hair and green eyes for this story. She's still getting over the whole Admin incident. I'm already having fun imagining her meeting Xisuma!

Lukas the Architect: Blond hair, blue eyes, writes everything that happens to the Order in books.

Petra the Warrior: Red hair, dark eyes, wears a blue bandana. PVP master. I can imagine her being friends with False or Cleo.

Olivia the Engineer: Dark skin, dark hair, dark eyes. She mostly wears red. She has a green beanie and a pair of goggles on her head. (I'm a poet and I sure show it). Poor thing is gonna be completely overwhelmed by people like Doc or Mumbo Jumbo. 

Axel the Rogue: A really big guy with black hair, dark eyes, green sweater or something. Loves TNT and blowing stuff up. 

Other things about the MCSM world:

- They're still in 1.12. 

- BigBSt4tz lives there

- It's corrupted (but I'll explain that in the story)

- I won't be shipping anyone here either.
