I follow the doctor out and catch up to him.

"Hey doctor Valentine thank you for taking care of my sister and as soon as you need anything just let me know"

A nurse pushes him from behind by mistake and he drops his chart at my feet. I pick it up and see something before I give it back to him.

"Thank you" he responds

U give him the chart and head back to Ciaras room just as Sofia arrives.

"Hey sis, I'm so glad you were able come on such short notice"

She gives me a hug and responds.

"I'm scheduled to leave for Spain in two days I had to come"

We enter Ciaras room, Sofia hugs her immediately greeting her with a smile.

"What are you so happy about"
"That after 5 long years I get to see you Ciara"

I speak to everyone.

"I think it's time we discussed something, Emily you can take my car home"

She hugs me a says goodbye to everyone before walking out.

"Ciara has something to tell us"
"What do you mean?" She looks at me curiously on her bed.

"I saw the doctors chart Ciara explain yourself"

She looks down to her hands, Sofia squeezing them.

"Did you call Sarah?"
"She's on her way"

"Now tell us Ciara, don't leave anything out"

"Alex left me because of my illness but I also just found out that I'm pregnant today I promise he doesn't know a thing about the baby"

Sofia looks Ciara I the eyes, "He is your husband you have to tell him"

"No, if he couldn't stay with me to help me through this though time he isn't worth raising my child with me"

I ask her.

"So what are you going to do about your marriage"
"Wait for Alex to send the divorce papers"
"So it's really happening"

"Yes it is" I say slamming my hand on the wall. I walk towards her bedside and take her hand in mine.

"If he wasn't willing to help you kick cancers a**s then he wasn't worth the effort"
"Eli's right big sister"

Lilly speaks up.

"Even though the one you claim to be the love of your life has left you alone in this his wrong, you're not alone. You have us your siblings who love you and mother who would do anything to see you happy"
"Thanks guys I don't know what I'd do without you"

I look at them feeling happy.

"Bring it in sisters share the love"

A few hours later my mom is at the hospital accompanied by Melvin, our Butler and grandmother.

"Where's my baby girl?"
"Mom I'm turning 30"
"What difference does it make, you're still my girl"

I look at her.

"Eli told me everything my love, the lawyer brought in the divorce papers this morning you'll be free from that man and don't worry about your child we're here we're all here"
"Sarah isn't"

The family looks at me

"It's true isn't it, her behavior has gotten out of hand ever since she started staying alone in her apartment"

As if on cue Sarah walks into the room, screaming on her phone.

"I'll get you your money by tomorrow alright, my brother will give it to me dipsh**t stop calling me"

She just looks at all of us sarcastically.

"What are you all looking at"
"You, where have you been?"

She responds, angrily.

"Don't raise your voice at me Eli I have mother to do that"

I calm down remembering that she's my younger sister.

"How much do you need"
"$28 000"
"What?"

She just pulls out her phone to switch it off.

"Don't ask me about my spending habits alright, it takes a lot to look this hot"
"Sarah Maria Johnson shut up for once in your life"

My mother stands up furiously.

"Your inconsiderate behavior has torn apart this family, because of how we had to take sides I supporting your stupid decisions"

"What you will do is keep quiet until I finish talking, you are only twenty five and look at your life, your brother is twenty two and already a multi millionaire

Sarah fold her arms.

"Looking hot, for who your fifty boyfriends who always seem to never get enough of you"
"I only hang out with one guy now mother those days are over I love him"

"Let me tell you something mother seeing as to the fact that father left you I know a lot more about love"

My mother slaps Sarah hard making her hold her cheek.

"I'm 25 i don't have to take this anymore, you wanna know something else Martha, you are the worst mother ever"
"Sarah shut up, Elijah take her out of her Ciara tells me"

I grab Sarah's arm and drag her out of the hospital room.

"You have crossed the line Sarah"
"I won't take a lecture from you little brother"

Her voice so intimidating.

"If you need the money meet me by Eddies restaurant tomorrow, we need to talk about what just happened"

Sarah walks off looks over her shoulder.

"I'll be there"

When I get back into the hospital room I find my mother in tears.

"Where did I go wrong?"

Lilly hugs her kissing the top of her head.

"Sarahs an idiot mom"

Failing what else to say I just rub her shoulders and hug my grandma with my other hand. The next day treatment for Ciara has started. It's late in the evening and I'm on my way to Eddie's restaurant when I receive a phone call Sarah.

"Sarah it's 9 where are you"
"Eh..Eh..Eli"
"Sarah where are you?"
"I..nee..d. hel..p"
