It finally came to Wednesday, the day I long waited for but now dreaded.
“hey Hope! Today’s your club’s meeting right?” Jan said as she came to my locker.
“Yep, sadly.”
“Sadly? I thought this was like your future and blah blah blah.”
“Well I mean yeah it is but Brent is gonna be there, and honestly I don’t want him there.”
“Just kick him out of the club, you can say it was a majority vote.”
“Trust me I would if I could, but the principle said I have to keep him until the death of my life.”
“Hope come on, don’t be so melodramatic.” Janis said laughing while I joined her too.
“Come on, let’s just go to the club and make him get kicked out, but not by you, the other nerds, I mean people.” She said smiling creepy.
“Love the idea Jan, but how exactly are we going to do that? It’s not like we are going to force him to just quit.” I said laughing.
“Actually Hope that’s a great idea! I’m pretty sure he wants to get out of youe “Lame” club as bad as you want him out. This can work! All you have to do is make everyone else in your club to hate him enough to kick him out, this way it won’t be your fault and the principle can’t tell you no.” Janis said smiling at her mischievous yet alarmingly good plan.
“Okay then Janis. Let’s do this! What do you want me to do first?”
“Tell Brent the plan.”
“On my way to do so.”
