Lebron POV
I was thinking of going to the mall with my sis and them but decided to take Baki up on his invitation. I called him up and told him to come pick me up. When he answered I felt a little thing build up in my belly but I just ignored it. I was dresses and ready to go, as I went downstairs I saw my sis and wished her happy birthday and that she has good luck finding her mate and she told me the same thing. We hugged and then there was a know on the door.
When I opened the door I saw who it was and it was making my heart race like if I just finished running a marathon. Baki asked if he could come in so he can Di happy birthday and stuff. When he walked in he brushed past me and that's when I felt the electricity but I soon ignored it. I heard him and Di talking she was laughing and tell him to be safe and call if there is a problem and all them protective sis shit. I smiled knowing that she loves me and is always worried but I think I will be fine today.
We went to his car and he opened the door for me which made me blush and think 'What the hell'. I enter and he closed the door and ran to his side of the car. The ride to the mall was about a fifteen minutes but it felt shorter with the way we were talking and how his hand was brushing mines at times. I felt myself getting redder each time. Once we parked we headed to the first store which was Guess because I mean why not they have some good stuff.
We went in saw some suits and thought about it and tried some on but I wasn't feeling it really. So we headed to Detour to see what they have and well they so suits that will make you stop a party. What will I do without this boy he is so sweet and kind, whoever gets him better treat him well. I smiled at the thought of him being mine but swiftly shook my head. We made it to the mall parked and got out. The first thing we did was go looking around for some formal outfits for tonight. We tried different store but none of the outfit caught our eyes until we went to this really expensive store which is owned by Baki's family.
When we entered the clothes caught my eye, I did not realize Baki left my side until I heard his voice on my left talking to someone. I decided to walk up to him and speak with him but before I was able to touch him he turned to me and smiled, my heart skipped a beat and I played it off and said to him, "Let's look for our outfits separately because I want to be able to figure out who you are in the party since it is a masquerade ball. He nodded and just went his way leaving me there just watching him. 'I am having a weird feeling when I am around him,' I thought to myself. I went to look for my outfit and mask because I would like to look very exquisite. I found this sexy blue and red suite with a black and red soled shoe.
I tried it on the shirt under was black with a red tie while the suit jacket and pants was blue. I loved it and I got a mask that was black and red, it cover most of my face it resembled the phantoms mask from Phantom of the opera. I was in love with this look, after I tried it on I undress and went to the cashier but made sure Baki was no where around and asked to cashier to cash these fast and make sure to not tell him what I got. She smiled and nodded and went about the business told me the amount and I was surprised it wasn't as expensive as I thought. Then something came to mind and I remember that he was speaking to them and probably asked them to give me a discount. Once we paid for everything we decided to head to the food court to have some lunch, I messaged my sis asking her if she was in the mall and she answered and said yeah she's with the crew.
I started to have a weird feeling like someone is watching me so I turned to Baki and gave him a look and he understood. He too was having the weird feeling, soon after our silent conversation there were guys wearing black trying to surround us. This seems to be a moment where I wished my sis would come and help, I decided to have a conversation with my wolf Shane. " Hey Shane, what you think is happening here." He replied, " I think these people have been following us for a while and now I know it for sure but I am not sure who they are here for." I sighed and decided to talk to Baki and tell him we needs to leave but instead the black clothed fellows started to surround us faster. I quickly told Shane to mind link Alex so we could get some help here and fast.
Baki POV
I was surprised that everything was going so well today but for some reason there has been this nagging sensation in the back of my head. My vampire Christian was alerting me of there movements because we have to keep our mate safe. The thing is I do not think LeBron realizes that we are mates yet but I think today he is starting to get the hints. Once we were finished shopping, our next destination was the food court to meet up with my sister and Leb's sister and their friends. I looked at him and I could tell instantly that he was tense and immediately I knew why. The people that have been following us has now made themselves known and have us totally surrounded. I started to have a conversation with Christian, "I want to get Lebron out of here before these people hurt him because they are most likely here for me, well I mean us."
He answered, "No I think they were looking for our mate, which means something is going down." "This is weird because their family is a simple one don't flaunt anything around and is always helpful. Though we do not really know their parents past." Christian nodded and just mumbled a "Stay alert". I linked my sister and told her we are in trouble and if she could get some help. Before I could react I was kicked straight to my gut and flew into a store, which there were things that received damage an would require payment. I got up to receive a punch and another kick, when I cleared my vision I looked for Leb but could not find him.
Unknown POV
Who would've thought that getting these people so worked up would be so fun. I think I should tell my people to back off, I just wanted this to be a birthday present nothing more, nothing less. "Guys move out that is enough we do not want them to figure us out quite as yet."
Lebron POV
"What the hell is going on here?" I am totally dumbfounded because all of a sudden the people we were fighting has disappeared. This gave me the opportunity to look for Baki and I found him and he looked distressed. "Hey what's wrong? It looks like you've seen a ghost." He looked and me, grabbed me and told me, "Do not ever leave my side again do you hear me." I nodded and hugged him tightly and this did it for me, I knew for sure that we were meant for each other. We stopped hugging as soon as we heard shouting from our friends and family. I looked at him and we were both blushing furiously. Dikoda ask, "Hey guys are you alright? No one's hurt or anything? I sent Emily home incase anything worst happens and I think we should all go home and rest up for the party tonight." Everyone nodded in agreement and decided to leave. I said goodbye to Baki because it made more sense for me to go with my sister.
On the way back I had this gut feeling that things are about to change and I do not know if it is the good kind or the bad kind. As I was so deep in my thoughts I did not realize that my sis was calling me until she mindlinked me. "Yo, what the hell I have been calling you for like ten minutes now. What's wrong?" I replied, "Nothing is wrong I am just feeling a little excited for tonight and well I also feel like things are about to change for us and I do not know if this would be a good thing or a bad one." She nodded and pulled into to our drive way and we dismounted and headed inside. As soon as we walked in we were hugged and questioned to find out if we were alright and if anything bad happened. We felt so smothered that we wiggled out and told everyone that we are fine and that everything is ok and no one was hurt. Everyone let out a sigh and stopped looking a bit worried though I can tell that they are still uncomfortable and that we need to lighten the mood so I decided to tell everyone, "Hey, guys I think I found my mate and I cannot wait to confirm it tonight hopefully." Everyone smiled and screamed and I knew I did the right thing by telling them this.

Everyone seems to be having a happy time, it almost makes me feel bad for soon coming and spoil everything.
