Epilogue

Everything was going smoothly in the Verleden Island when a sailing ship was seen in the coast. The ship has been floating for a while now and the marines got curious on why it was taking so long in their place.

The marines went to the ship and saw no one alive. They didn't expect that it was a drug syndicate. According to their theory, the syndicates were experimenting a new drug but it end up killing everyone. The marines wasn't prepared from an illness so some of them had flu.

Before they arrived back to the island, they informed the people that there is an infectious disease from the ship. The people gathered in the coast and waited for the marines' ship.

Noong araw ding 'yun ay pinatawag si Fantasy para maging isa sa mga nurse ng isla. They will need lots of health workers to facilitate all of the infected people. Nagtawag na rin ang ospital ng mga reserved health workers, nasa labas man o loob ng isla.

"I need to go, bakla. Bantayan mo ang bahay at ipagpatuloy mo 'yang mga orders natin. Sayang kita," she hastily said and put her things to her bag.

"As if naman na may maglalakas ng loob na manloob sa bahay mo. Chika mo sa 'kin kung may fafang marines a?"

Napailing na lamang siya sa tinuran nito. "Bakla ka."

"Baklang bakla, Fantasy," he admitted with his high pitch voice.

Natawa na lamang siya rito at saka lumabas ng bahay. She rode her bicycle as she went to the hospital. Hindi niya nakalimutan na magsuot ng mask at gloves.

As she went inside the hospital, there are already bunch of marines in the hallway. Agad siyang pumunta sa pwesto niya at nakinig lamang sa inuutos ng doktor.

"Here, Fantasy. Iturok mo 'to sa mga marines na naroon. They don't have any symptoms but we had to make sure that they didn't get infected," sabi ni Dr. Alcaraz sa kaniya at ibinigay ang kits.

"What about those people inside the ships? Did they brought them as well?"

"They brought three of them. Tatlo na lang ang nabuhay sa kanila kaya sila lang ang dinala. They took pictures of all the people inside the ship for investigation but they are planning to fire up the whole ship so no one could get infected even more."

Tumango na lamang siya bilang tugon at saka pumunta sa pila ng mga marines. She cleared her throat to catch all of their attentions and they all fall straight in line.

"After the injection, please go to the quarantine facility. We will monitor all of you to make sure that you are all okay. You could go to the quarantine facility by going this way," imporma niya sa mga lalaki.

They all looked at the door beside her. Binuksan niya ang pinto at nakita ang pababang hagdan. They all looked quizzical as they all saw the passage.

"This is an underground facility for all of you, nakikita niyo naman na hindi naman kalakihan ang isla natin kaya, we tend to occupy spaces even from below. Huwag kayong mag-alala, I can assure you that you can all breathe inside," she stated and took the anti-flu.

Tinanggal niya ang takip ng karayom at pinitik pa ito. "Who wants to go first?"

"A-Ako," the man in front of her said.

The side of her lips lifted as she saw a lone drop of sweat from his forehead. "Okay," she shrugged and positioned the needle on his arm.

Itutusok niya na sana ang karayom ngunit paatras naman nang paatras ito. She raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "We won't finish here if you keep on moving away, Mister," she said.

"I don't really like needles. Distract me?"

Napailing na lamang siya sa pagiging matatakutin nito. She looked at the surrounding and her eyes got wide open.
