They didn't came back to the island and stayed in Manila. Bumalik na rin si Leo sa pagiging doctor sa pag-aari nitong Ospital. She's assured that they do not need to go back to the island because she knows how much love Leo has for her.

Pangisi-ngisi na lamang siyang nagluluto nang marinig ang tawag ni Rose. Her eyebrow arched as she saw her name and just answered her call.

"Hello?"

"I'm getting married."

Nadikit ang balat niya sa kalan nang marinig ang balita nito. She didn't expect her to get wed that fast. Noong nakaraan lang ay nag-uusap pa sila tungkol sa ginawa nilang kalokohan nang itoka siya nito bilang tagapagbantay ng lalaki, ngunit ngayon ay ikakasal na siya. Real quick!

"At sino ang malas na lalaki?"

"Si Baste!"

Naubo naman siya nang wala sa oras at pinatay muna ang kalan. She laid her back to the kitchen counter. "What?! 'Yung NBI agent? Isn't NBI's fault why your Dad got hospitalized? Are you insane?"

Hindi siya makapaniwala sa kwento nito. Love really does have mysterious ways.

"Exactly! That's his agency's fault not his."

She rolled her eyes. "Belong din siya roon, Rosetta," she reprimanded.

Narinig na lamang niya ang ekshareda nitong buntong hininga. "He explained everything to me and besides, Dad approved of him as well."

Napatigil siya at sunod-sunod na kumurap nang ilang beses ang mga mata. "Really? You should've bring Tito back in the hospital then. Maybe some screws loosen a bit."

"I heard that!"

Nanigas ang kaniyang pangangatawan nang marinig ang boses ng ama-amahan. "Love you, Sugar," pang-uuto niya rito habang tumatawa.

"Love you too!"

She heard noise over the phone. "Pasintabi naman sa legal na anak o," naaasar na sabi ni Rose.

She laughed heartily as she sense some jealousy in her voice. "Excuse me? Legal rin kaya ako," she reminded her. Legal kasi siyang inampon ng ama ni Rose nang mapadpad silang magkapatid sa isla.

Narinig ang paghinga nito nang malalim. "Galing ako sa semilya ng Daddy ko!"

Humagalpak na siya ng tawa at napahampas pa sa table. "Eh ano ngayon? Nakakatikim ka na rin naman ng semilya ng iba," she teased.

Natahimik naman ito sa kabilang linya kaya't napatigil rin siya sa pagtawa. "Oh bakit natahimik ka?"

"I never tasted it. He won't let me."

She pft-ed, trying to avoid her laughter once again, but hearing her whine like that made her really laugh out loud. "Wanna tip?"

"Yes! Give me tips!"

She chuckled lightly. "Hindi ka ba naririnig ni Tito diyan? Ang laswa mo, ghorl."

"Nah. I'm at the garden right now. 'Wag mo ibahin ang usapan, pengeng tips!"

She played with her lips. "Haven't you tried it while he's sleeping?"

"Yep, but he always woke up before anything happens."

"Then make him tired, so tired that he won't have an energy to stop you. One lick and I'm sure he can't stop you anymore, I assure you that."

"Na-try mo na ba 'yan? How was Leon and our Lion doing in their cave?"
