Harry got up from the couch in the common room, leaving Hermione and Ron's company.

"Where are you going?" Hermione asked, looking up from her book. Ron turned his head to look at Harry who was making his way to the door. "Yeah, we're about to watch a movie."

Shit. Harry had forgotten about that. "Um...I'm just gonna head out for a moment. Something came up."

Hermione raised her eyebrow and stared at him questioningly. "At 9PM?" Harry nodded slowly. "Yeah..."

"You know I can tell you're lying, right, Harry?" She said, crossing her arms over her chest. "Listen, I'm just heading out for a quick moment, I'm only gonna go help out a friend."

"Who?" Ron asked.

"...Just a friend."

"You don't have that many friends outside of Gryffindor, mate."

Harry groaned and ran a hand through his hair. "Fine. I'm going to the Slytherin common room real quick to help Pansy out with something."

"Pansy? As in Pansy Parkinson?" Ron asked incredulously. "What could she need your help for?"

"I don't know," Harry shrugged, except he did know and he hated having to lie so much to his friends about it. Hermione sighed and shook her head, saying, "Alright, fine. But you owe us a movie night tomorrow."

Ron turned to look at Hermione, shocked at her response. "'Mione!" Hermiones looked at him and shrugged. "What? Parkinson's not that bad, to be honest. I think we've misjudged her a lot."

"Misjudged?!"

Harry pursed his lips as the two began to argue and slowly made his way out of the Gryffindor common room. He pulled his invisibility cloak over him and walked to the dungeons, doing his best to avoid Peeves and Filch.

He made his way to the Slytherin common room and knocked on the door thrice, like the Slytherins had told him to do if he ever wanted to drop by. It truly surprised Harry how close they'd all gotten recently and in such short amount of time, but Harry was glad about it. He wanted to have a normal friendship with them, especially Draco, without having their petty rivalries, and whatever happened before and during the war to come in between.

The door opened by itself, and he let himself in. The common was empty except for a few students here and there, chilling by the fireplace or tucked in the chairs inside the room. A few glanced at him, but shrugged it off, going back to whatever they were doing and paying him no mind. It was kind of weird, to say the least, but Harry enjoyed it. He liked this. It was definitely something he could get used to.

He texted the others in the chat that he was in the common room already, and Pansy replied almost immediately, telling him to head to the shared gender-neutral bathroom upstairs near the boys' dorm. Harry pocketed his phone and made his way there.

He found people sitting around the halls, walking in and out of the dorms, and could hear Blaise's laughter ringing through the hallway. He could also hear the lively chatter between the Slytherins he's befriended at the beginning of the year as he made his way to the bathroom. Inside, Pansy sat beside Draco at the top of the counter (who's hair was back to blonde, but was now a dirty, yellow looking one, with a towel around his neck, and wearing nothing but a loose, old t-shirt and shorts, something Harry had never expected to see him in), and at the side opposite of theirs stood Blaise, scrolling through his phone.
