"hello love!"
His sweet soothing voice came through the computer as he answered the call a couple of seconds after emma decided to press the call button. Her face was radiating with happiness the minute she saw his face. He always managed to make her feel better after a stressful day.

"How are you?"
"I just got back home from work.. Henry is upstairs reading books while eating ice
Cream. He's okay tho!"
The pirate smiled broadly and charmingly as he finished his phrase.

"Ugh.. I miss him like hell! Can you make him come
Down and talk to me?"
She pouted playfully.
"Sure just give me a second!"
He immediately left the living room and now the camera on the computer focused on an empty room.

The blond woman turned around and looked behind her right at the bathroom door. She could  listen at the water rushing from the inside of the bathroom and that made her heart drop. Any minute now Regina could be exiting the bathroom... that means Henry would see her and she would see Henry. That wasn't necessarily a good idea.

Regina might had implied a few things about the destruction of storybrooke but she had never mentioned anything about Henry so far. She looked like she completely had forgotten the fact that that little boy used to be her son... Emma was pretty sure that Regina hadn't forgotten tho.. she preferred to ignore those memories in order to eliminate the pain.

She breathed deeply when she heard Henry's voice. She focused her vision on the screen of the computer again to see her little boy's face staring right at her within the screen.

"How's the case mum?"
He asked smiling all excited.
"It's going great kid. I just reached the hotel room
A few minutes ago, so I think that tonight I'll be spending my night down at the bar meeting people."

Henry smiled even broader and filled up with encouragement.
"You can do this mum! Be careful and come back soon okay? I miss you!"
Emma placed her thumb on the top of the screen and rubbed Henry's figure filled up with lust to hug her son.

"I love you too. I'll be back before you know it kid! Take care of Killian okay?"
Henry nodded and winked at her before he hung up the video call. She laid on the couch and crossed her hands underneath her head looking at the ceiling while daydreaming.

She heard everything... she heard every single word... every single laugh... every single breath he took.  She could even picture the way he would be smiling inside her head. Crystal clear tears had flooded her eyes struggling to escape and run down her red cheeks. She wouldn't let them... she wouldn't actually admit that she missed him like crazy.

All these years she was pretty sure that she had totally forgotten the way he spoke and sounded.  Bullshit... the minute he breathed she knew it was him. He was her son after all. She would never forget anything that has to do with Henry. She was sitting down on the bottom of the jacuzzi hugging her knees while crying soundless like a baby. She couldn't ignore her pain any longer. All these dark memories in combination of Henry's loss seemed like a living torture.

She breathed heavily trying to keep it together and stop herself from bawling her eyes out but no. Each memory she had kept hitting her like she was a moving target and the memories were the arrows.

She spent twenty more minutes in there when she heard Emma knocking the bathroom door.
"You're good in there?"

Regina held her breath startled and scared that emma had actually heard her. A few seconds passed and she heard another knock on the door.
"Regina are you asleep?"

Emma's voice was getting even more nervous. She stood up and wrapped a white towel around her body. She rubbed her blood shot eyes and opened the door forcing a smile.
"What is it swan?"
