She looked around the bar and the lovely decoration. The tables were all wooden, and the chairs and stools around the bar and tables were leather black. It looked fancy and simplistic. Perfect for the occasion... the lighting was kinda dark and dimply but she liked that place's vibes.

She placed her hands inside her pockets walking inside the bar when she saw a young attractive man shaking his hands for her to notice him. He was tall with almond green eyes, and dark curly hair. A lovely bright smile was covering his entire dark face while a dark moustache was all over the upper part of his lips. He was wearing a black costume that fitted him perfectly. He looked quite masculine and fitness. She approached him putting on her broadest smile and sat down across him on the table.

"You must be Regina!"
"Yes yes this is me."
She admitted and smiled charmingly while playing with her hair uncomfortably. It was the very first time dating someone after Robin Hood... to be honest things between her and Emma were a lot easier. They had been knowing and flirting with each other for years so it was a matter of time for them to bond in a romantic way...

But Alan... Alan was a whole new person in her life right now. She knew absolutely nothing about him and the whole idea of learning about someone from the beginning seemed exciting and terrifying at the same time. Alan beckoned to the waitress to come over the table and handed the former queen one of the bar's drink catalogs.

"I suggest you the apple Jack in case you want something sweet and playful or else if you are a fan of bitter tastes I would say that Blackberry Brandy would be the perfect choice."
Alan said in his husky and sexy voice while looking at her with his big bright eyes.

"Wow I see you memorised the entire catalog."
She laughed. The waitress approached them and Regina looked at her bitting her lips.

"I think I'm gonna have a Βerrywhite. Is it alcohol free?"
She asked nervously avoiding to look at Alan's puzzled face.

"Okay is that all? Can I get you anything else?"
Regina shook her head negatively and the waitress smiled sweetly and walked away taking the catalogs with her.

"Alcohol free?"
Alan asked and laughed as he grabbed one of Cuban Cigars and lit it taking a strong draft of smoke.

"Yes... I'm not really in the mood for a drink."
He rubbed his chin sceptically and and fixed his untamed curls.

"So tell me about you Regina.. interesting name by the way... Do you know that your name means queen in Latin? I have to say that it fits you perfectly... you have the face and attitude of a queen."
He winked and Regina smiled and twisted uncomfortably on her seat.

"Yes, I guess I was aware of that one. Thank you... so... you're friends with Barbara! How did you two meet?"
She changed the subject quickly.

"Oh we have been friends since high school. We graduated together and then our ways separated since she moved to London in order to study in the university. I decided to stay in the United States and study jurisprudence here. A couple of years after she finished her studies and moved back to New York we started hanging out again and we are quite good friends. She's an amazing woman."

"Oh tell me about it. I work with her."
She smirked and Alan twisted on his seat obviously feeling the awkward aura coming from Regina.

"So where did you grow up?"
Hmmm... good question...
"Ugh... Nevada. My father was a mathematics teacher and my mother was a musician. They met at a concert and that's how our little family started."
