There was no way to approach Regina... Emma knew that the former queen was in terrible pain. She wanted to help her as well... but Regina wouldn't let Emma get closer. Every time the pain took over her she would just distance herself and build her walls up again.

There was nothing she could do for now. She had to give the brunette some time to open up and feel safe.
She put on her Mickey Mouse pajamas and laid on the king sized bed with her face facing the mattress. She closed her eyes and wished that sleep would take over her right away, but no.

Her thoughts kept flooding her brain not leaving her alone.

{Regina's dream:}
Tears... tears flooding her eyes making her vision blurry. She couldn't breath. She just wanted to cease existing. She wanted to pinch herself and wake up pretending that everything was a bad dream... but no. It was the ugly truth. She couldn't help but cover her mouth in an effort to stop her loud sobs as soon as they placed the white coffin in front of her. The sobs kept escaping her mouth non stop and her breathing was heavy. Her eyelids were heavy. She couldn't take it... there was nothing more horrible than a mother losing her child...
She held Robin's hand tight inside her own but he wouldn't move a muscle. He just stayed still staring at the coffin and the big grave stone at the front of it. "Ophelia, 8 months old, cause of death: lung cancer". His eyes were teary but the tears wouldn't dare escape. His hands were cold... and his eyes empty. She looked at him seeking for his love and compassion but every single feeling was gone. He was empty. He wouldn't even look at her. She looked around her not being able to stare at the coffin anymore and faced all these familiar faces.
Her boss, her coworkers, family friends, and friendly faces were all there to support them and show them their compassion. It wasn't enough... Even though these people were part of her life they weren't enough. The ceremony started and the minute that the priest started talking about their daughter Robin started walking away. She couldn't let him leave. Not now! She couldn't say goodbye to their bundle of joy all alone. She run behind him and held his hand pulling him back.

"What do you think you're doing?"
"None of your business."

He growled and looked inside her eyes filled up with anger. Her muscles started tensing up. Her head hurt, her palms were shaky and her eyes were blood shot. She could barely see him. She felt like someone had just ripped her heart outside of her chest.

"The least you can do as her father is to stay here and honor her!"
She said softly trying her best to empathize his pain.
Cold... empty eyes stared back inside her own dark orbs burning in pain and anger.

"You don't get to tell me how to grieve my daughter's death. I lost a son because of you.. and now I'm losing another child because you can't do something right for once in your god damn life!"

Her jaw dropped. No.. no no no! He put the blame on her! He actually put the blame on her! Ophelia was born with cancer.. it was inevitable! During her pregnancy she followed the doctor's orders and made sure to eat healthily and remain healthy! She did nothing wrong! SHE DID NOTHING WRONG! But still... Deep inside her she felt like it was her own fault after all.

Maybe she did something wrong. Maybe there was something that she hadn't noticed. Maybe she should have been even more careful... maybe it was just life taking a revenge on her for replacing Henry. The guilts... oh the guilts! Her guilts were hunting her down.

She had no idea how to escape herself this time! She had no idea how to escape her worst punishment (her guilts).

"What did you say?"
Her voice soft, she was almost whispering.
