"Maybe it's destiny"

Regina was pacing up and down inside the bathroom while snow was sitting on the floor hugging her knees. For some odd reason she could feel her palms getting sweaty and her heart tightening inside her chest. She was nervous. There was no reason to be nervous though... miracles did not happen.

There was no possibility that Emma could get her pregnant. Magic was not existent in that land. She breathed out as the timer started ringing and shrugged her shoulders nervously.

Snow stood up and approached her with a radiating smile on her face. She always loved to treat stressful situations with a bright smile on her face. That way she would be able to break the ice and ease the mood.
"Do you want me to look at it first?"

She asked Regina in soft voice and placed her palm on Regina's shoulder for support. The brunette woman seemed to be getting even more tensed.

"This is stupid. It's stupid Snow. There's no way I'm pregnant anyway."
She denied to look towards the pregnancy test and just looked away. She let her eyes wonder around the bathroom always avoiding the white stick on the sink.

"Cold feet huh? Since there's nothing to worry about why don't you take a look?"
Snow smiled playfully teasing her step mother and crossed her hands under her chest.

"I don't get cold feet!"
Regina fought back.
"Then why don't you look at it?"
"No!"
"Look at it Regina or I will!"

Snow held Regina's wrists pulling her closer while the brunette kept looking away. To be honest she had no idea why she felt that stressed about it... she knew that there was nothing to be worried about. She cleared her throat and decided to stop behaving like a five year old and finally take a look in order to satisfy Snow's will and get this over with.

She approached the sink and held the white pregnancy test inside her palms. She narrowed her eyes to focus on the symbol in the middle of the tiny screen on the middle of it and her eyes widened open in surprise and terror at the same time.

She was glancing over at Snow with terror and then back on the test. Snow's jaw dropped... no! There's no way she thought.
"It's positive."
She said in hoarse voice and almost chocked over her words. Snow covered her mouth with her hand and ended up smiling broadly.

"Congratulations Regina!"
She clapped her hands in a cheerful attitude and went for a big hug over Regina. The brunette just took a few steps away still in shock.

"No... there's no way! There's no fucking way."
She mumbled through her teeth and squeezed the test in her hands. There was no magic... emma was not in place to impregnate her. Regina wasn't even aware that magic could do such thing between two women anyway.

"Oh come on Gina cheer up! We all drink a little too much sometimes and forget what happened the previous night. Maybe you went a little too far with drinking but look at the bright side! Babies are always cute and I bet that you're gonna be an amazing mother."

It was unbelievable. Regina was going crazy and Snow White was cheering over an accidental pregnancy. The older woman threw the pregnancy stick inside the garbage can and rubbed her palms together in anticipation.

"No. No this is not happening! I visited the gynecologist a couple of weeks ago! Everything was fine!"
She insisted and started pacing up and down inside the bathroom.

"Maybe the sexual intercourse happened after you visiting the gynecologist."
"Oh trust me it didn't!"
Regina raised the tone of her voice without herself realizing and gave Snow a death glare.

"Then how did that happen Regina? I know how babies are made! If you didn't sleep with a guy then... then I dunno! Maybe you should start believing at miracles."
